Chapter 2: The Beginning After the End (Part 1)
"I was a beggar
I was born in a poor family, poor city outside the wall. Famine, agony and death are circling around the town everyday.
Looking for food everyday is my duty and as the only man in my family. My Sister was sick and my mother is the only one taking care of her...
...but one day, after I returned for fetching food. I saw my mom and sister got beheaded in front of many people. I couldn't talk....I lost all my energy...they killed my family just because we couldn't pay our taxes but I know that's not it.....that damn bastard King.... I'LL KILL YOU!!!"
I was walking on the street, dirty and almost lifeless but, tonight is different. A man in a hat stood in front of me.
"You want to get stronger amd avenge your family? I'll help you!" The man said.
I couldn't answer, I have no energy left. Everything is starting to fade, infinite void fills my eyes and when I wake up there is a man sitting in front of a porch cooking meal.
"You're awake? Eat this before you go outside"
Due to hunger I couldn't say "No."
I grabbed the bowl of soup and eat as fast I can, savoring every bite. The man is smiling in front of me while I was eating....then I got the courage....
"Who are you? Why did you help me?" I asked.
"I saw something in you that I couldn't see in other people." The man said.
"...and what is that? I don't have money nor property so I can't give you anything." I replied
"hahha. you're funny. No! it's not money." He said.
"then what is it?" I eagerly asked. I'm looking at him with such curiosity.
"It was a glimpse of destiny but I saw that you're not afraid of death. That's what I saw in you that I couldn't see in others.
Normally, people are afraid of death so they will do everything, give money or fame and they are even ready to kill just for their sake..." The man said to me.
He walked towards the open window and look up at the sky. A giant wall is seen far away from his home.
*sigh*
"...we are really never going to attain peace, aren't we?" He said.
Then his eyes changed, his gaze is threatening...
"You want to get stronger? I'll help you but in exchange you have to do something for me..." he said.
I was thinking whether I can do this or not but I remember that day when I saw my family got murdered in front of me. I have set one goal in my life...I will kill the current [King], the only one responsible for all of this havoc in our life.
"I want to get stronger... I want to make revenge in the people I lost! Teach me!" I said.
The my sight shift to his eyes. I showed all my determination to him, then he gave me that smile i have never seen.

Several Months have past and I learned so much about Magic in our world.
"[Mana]?"
[Mana] is the energy that governs life and, it gives power to living beings who uses it and has no form. [Mana] may varies from people to people and we call it [Mana-quality.]
[Mana] can be a fire, water or even air. Since it has no form, they can do everything about it, since it is the energy of the world.
"Master Sebas! I did it!....
I now know my [Mana-quality]!" I said to him with enthusiasm and joy in my face.
"ohhh?? let me see it!" Master said.

A herd of low-level [Twin-Horned] boar are approaching.
I stood up and face them. The herd are so angry and running in havoc to kill me.
When they are so close to me, a meter close to be exact, I activated my power.
The 15 twin-horned boar stopped in the midair they were enevelop in cube-like force field as he saw it, master Sebas is shocked in my development.
He is lost in word, since it is his first time seeing something like this.
"H-How did you do it? " Master Sebas said.
"Isn't it amazing Master Sebas. This is my [Mana-quality]. I call it [Spatial Distortion]" I said to him.
Marcus, you're a genius!
After another several years of training I reach in my 20s. I got stronger and stronger but my agenda still hasn't changed a bit.
Master Sebas brought me in an underground base. We walked in entire darkness and only the lamp is the source of light.
Minutes have passed and reach the end of the tunnel, I saw many people dressed in cloak and the place is full of torch.
"Welcome Marcus! this is the [Resistance]!" Master Sebas said.
[Resistance] are group of people who wants peace and their main goal is to end the current heartless [King].
Every people inside the cave greets me like a fellow, the tables full of food and wines and dancing. it was the first time to experience this.
Master Sebas stood on top of the stage and greeted everyone.
"Everyone! three days from now we will end this nightmare. We will attack the castle and end the reign of those heartless bastards." Master said.
Everyone cheered and howl their anger to the reign of the kingdom.
[Three Days Later]
Three days have passed and the day of seig in on time.
We will attack the castle where they least expect us to see, the royal ceremony of the king.
[The Resistance] attack the entire castle with one purpose, kill the current King.

Many soldiers and [Resistance] people have died but I did not stop. I am the strongest among all [Resistance]. Alongside my master, we attack the chamber of the king.
With the King's Royal Guard trying to defend the corrupt king, master engage with them and I solely focus my attention to the king.
"YOU BASTARD.... I'LL KILL YOU NOWWWW!!!" I said to the king.
My battle in the king is so intense that even shook the world, and turn almost everything lifeless....
It is without a doubt, the [King] is the most powerful mage in the country but I won't lose.
My blood dripping in every part of my body and so is the king.
"HOW DARE YOU KILL MY FAMILY!
HOW DARE YOU KILL THOSE PEOPLE!
HOW DARE YOU OPPRESSED US LIKE INSECT!
YOU DESERVED NO MERCY!!!" I released all my anger to him while attacking him.
He is now helpless. He's lying on the dead field where countless bodies are lying like him.
"I'LL KILL YOU N—"
"HAHAHAHAHA do you really think I'm the one who did that?" the king said while standing up, using all of his energy to stand up.
"what did you say?" i said to him. I can't understand what he is talking about.
"You won't understand. I'm....I..... I'm just....a puppet" The king said to me. I am so shocked to his words.
I ignored his nonsense and immediately killed him with my final blow.
"I can now finally rest...." I thought to myself.
When I was about to depart. I felt an omnious energy, a black and sinister aura radiating from the Kings body. I puked by just feeling it.
"what is this energy... it's so evil."
The clouds turned dark and the sound of thunder were heard. When i look at the body of the king, it is emitting a heavy and dark aura, his eyes turned black and his body levitate in the sky.
Seven huge figure of monsters appeared in in the sky.
"Who are you? identify yourself!!" I said loudly.
"We are the [7 kings of Hell] and the one responsible for this nightmare." the 7 kings said with such growling amd evil voice.
"For a human, your power is commendable. Too bad, your weak compared to us, the kings" one of kings said to me.
I need to stop them because if I don't the whole world will be engulf in this unimaginable nightmare....
I use everything I got to defeat them but our battle only lasted in 30 mins. I was completely powerless compared to them, they are just toying with me...
"I'm sorry Mom, sister....and master and people of the kingdom. I couldn't fulfill the justice you all deserve." I said in my mouth mind with the thought of dying while falling in to the sky.
A memory of his master replay on his mind.
"...before I teach you I need you to promise me something..." master Sebas said.
"What is it?" I said curiously.
"...promise us that you will change this kingdom and bring peace to the world." master Sebas said to me.
"I'm sorry master....I couldn't do it." i said in my last breath.
My eyes was filled in void, I was floating in a endless nothingness.
Then I saw a light in front of me and it said—
[Congratulation! You are Chose by the System]
