Chapter 2: Prologue : World's oversight (2)
The interior of the opening was well polished and tiled but the two centipedes are too ignorant to notice the difference
As the two centipedes got to the end of the opening they found a wall with glowing writing and a corpse in a lotus position by the side.
When the brute noticed the bag of bones that was the corpse run straight to it and started eating voraciously without noticing the pale blue glow of the bones.
Meanwhile the elegant one noticed the words and got on top of the when it reached the first one it got in a trance and started following the writing with a crimson glow in its compound eyes.
When the brute finished eating the bones it started glowing the same pale blue and cracking noises resounding
Sometime later the elegant one got out of the trance and looked at the brute, got close and started glowing too but with less intensity.
A few hours later the brute come to it's senses rousing with it's movements the elegant one.
Now it was even bigger than the elegant one and gained a new luster on it's ordinary carapace
The elegant one coming out of it's stupor noticed the brute and dragged him to the first word initiating brute's bout of trance
While that was happening, a book appeared in front of the elegant one with some words in it though it seemed it was ignorant of their meaning.
The trance of the brute coming to an end got it beside the elegant one with the ending of the trance causing the book to glow and grow from half the size of them to full size
At the same time they looked at each other and their both glowed a more intense crimson than before
They knew instinctively that they will the rest of the lives bond with or without their consent but since they already were companions for life the didn't have a problem
They got closer.
The tome disappeared.
They touched antennae.
A weird feeling overcome them; like they could hear noises a everywhere but they were alone.
Upon disconnecting the most of the noise stopped; now the noise that was heard was different, it was kind of controllable, kind of pleasant.
In their first time of their lives they where in control and the instinct an option and not the only choice
Like newborns the started taking in the environment with newfound curiosity for anything except of food and shelter
They accomplished something monumental that not the them, not the script creator, not even the World's Will understood the significance of!
They broke the fundamental principle of intelligence of insects and the lack thereof.
