Chapter 1: Adventure 1 - The Bet. (Choles POV)

I'm doing the Adventure log today since Zoey broke her arm and possibly has a disease due to wild animals.
So, we both decided we could use some fresh air for our fall break. We've been loaded with school work last week and we decided to clear our minds. But our meditation didn't go as planned..
Instead, we have a swarm of mosquitoes buzzing around us each time we tried meditating. Very annoying if you ask me. So I suggested that we just kill the flies so we could continue peacefully, but Zoey showed me her dumb list of rules on the trip. One of them were "No hurting Nature or animals". I rolled my eyes and decided to take a walk in the forest instead, Zoey continued to stay there with an army of flies surrounding her.
Right before I leave she handed me a walkie talkie just in case I got lost. "Me, Walkie talkie, lost?!" I scoffed. "You have to me kidding me", I said. I would never get lost in the woods, and I don't need your "assistance". Then, Zoey said she wanted to bet on it. Of course I accepted her little bet, if I know Zoey, I know she'll beg to put the bet off if she loses. Her pity is quite amusing, so I looked forward to winning. If she lost (which she will.) She'll have to let me pick her entire outfit for prom, and I'm not gonna be that nice with it. If she wins then I have to do 48hrs of garden service straight. I abousoltuy hate dirt, so I was not looking forward to her winning.
So, I headed off into the forest. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, but not fit for my designer sneakers.. I didn't think I would find much, until I came across an abandoned stadium. It looked like it was used to preform music, and plays. I was a curious person so of course I wanted to explore! I took many pictures and filmed a video. Zoey was really missing out on this cool stuff!
So I continued to walk around the stage until I removed this big rock off this little stand. I coughed from all the dust, not a wonderful experience..some even got in my eyes. When the dust went away, my eyes rested upon a very old book. Trying to use my poor eyes to read it, they were lyrics from a song. I then read the big words above which were, "Singing these lyrics, you'll cast a spell that will make everyone's eyes see what they think the perfect version of you looks like." I was so confused. I thought, "Were all the pages like this?" I then looked through the rest of the book, I was correct. Each page consist of some lyrics that are disguised as a spell. T-That's brilliant I said.
Then I thought, what if I sing the "Perfect Me" song? It can't be that bad, I mean. I'm already perfect. My friends and family should think so too, right? I was very hesitant, but I did it anyway. One of the worst mistakes in my life.
