Chapter 25: Mentor's Call

Anita hurried back to school after handling her family's business. Her original schedule wasn't this rushed.

Last night, her mentor called her to ask about Cole. "Anita, I just found out about Cole today."

This shocked Anita. She hadn't told her mentor because she was worried about his health. "Mentor, you… you know everything?"

"Yes," replied her mentor.

"Mentor, you…" Anita thought that her mentor knew what had happened that night and was wondering how to tell him what had happened that night.

"I just found out that Cole is the scum of the academic community. He's really a disgrace. If it weren't for Peter, we would have been kept in the dark." Her mentor said angrily.

"What? Peter? What does this have to do with Team Leader Peter?" Anita asked dubiously. She didn't know why this matter suddenly involved Team Leader Peter of the academic discussion group.
