Chapter 42: One Man Army
As they drove the road zombie's flesh are all over it, It was stinky and smells rotten they all couldn't smell it because of the air purification filter of the vehicle, as they drive towards the road more and more zombie's flesh and Blood are all over the road but a single body can't be find.
"Suspicious," Emily said as she looked outside on the window, "Suspicious indeed, for a place like this," Stacy said.
"What do you think happened here, Stacy?" Albert asked who is standing behind them, "There are many possibilities and explanations for what happened here, but I know one thing for sure that this is not cause by an ordinary zombie" She replied.
"Well, Looks like Stacy is right about that," Souta said and stopped the vehicle, "Get ready. There's hundreds of enemies surrounding us 100 meters away," He added.
They took all their weapons and were ready for combat, Using the vehicle as a cover, the vehicle went into defensive mode, activating it's EMP shield barrier, Emily and Stacy opened the windows from left to right and guard the position pointing the gun outside waiting for the enemies to come.
Meanwhile, Albert, who is on top of the sunroof, activates the machine gun on top. Nana, on the other hand, stayed inside the vehicle, waiting for their orders.
"Alright now, be prepared for what's coming," Souta said and left the vehicle with Yuki, All the members are leaves in question mark on their head, What is going on? Why is he leaving they thought to themselves.
Souta and Yuki summoned their equipment, which is only their sword, Souta, who have his Katana and Yuki, who has her two short swords.
"They're here," Albert said, Hundreds of animals are on site, and who is leading them is a lion.
"What the..." Stacy can't believe what she saw for a lion to be leading hundreds of animals that have turned into a zombies is not heard of.
"Truly an Apocalypse," Albert said, smiling. "we're done for," Nana said on the corner of the vehicle, "No, We're not, Souta is with us." Emily tried to comfort her.
"Let the battle begins" an unknown voice said, The lion roared fiercely, and the hundreds of animals attacked at ones, surprisingly not only animals but also human zombies.
"shit! this make them thousands now! what will you do now? Young master," Albert said as he looked at Souta. "Do not fear them, " Souta said calmly, summoning Thousands of drones with ease.
"Let's end this fast, I'm hungry," He said as if the problem was not a big deal. His ego is high yet elegant at the same time he's like a living prince or even a king on our time.
"Fire and kill them all," Yuki whispered. The drones activated, killing thousands of them in just a mere minutes, The drones flooded the sky firing at the zombies it's like rain bullets.
"Wow, is this your leader?" Nana said while looking on the window with Emily and Stacy, "I didn't know he was this powerful..." Emily said, "He is like a one man army," she added.
"I can't believe I mocked that person. Even the country's prime can't compare to his powers," Stacy said
"Hahahaha! that's the man I followed," Albert said
"Now, now, the fun shouldn't end like this. It's boring." Again, the unknown voice said. this time, birds who have turned into a zombie attack all of the drones, They swarmed them with numbers covering the entire sky with their shadow.
Souta snapped his finger, and the entire drones self-destroyed bombing the sky, killing all the birds all at ones. The drones have also been destroyed, leaving the zombie animals and humans run towards them at top speed.
Souta stretched his feet and said, "Let's end this." Suddenly, he disappeared, so is Yuki "Huh? Where is he?" Nana asked,"Souta? he's there... wait, where did he go?" Stacy asked "Look" Emily pointed her finger towards the horde of zombies, and there, Souta is grinding.
Killing hundreds of zombies In just a mere minute, one after another, "Don't worry about us, You should worry about the zombies who got slipped and got away, They are running towards you" Yuki said while also killing hundreds of zombies in just a minute.
"Oh shit." They start shooting the zombies that approach them on the head. Their accuracy for shooting a gun is excellent to hit every headshot, for every time they hit the trigger is insane.
"Kukuku, you're more interesting than I thought, Souta," the unknown voice said. The horde of zombies is decreasing very fast, leading to anger. The lion went straight to Souta.
"Now, this will make things much easier," Souta said as he smiled, The lion roared at him, attacking him
Souta stood calmly as the lion charged towards him, his katana glinting in the sunlight. The ground shook as the lion approached, its eyes filled with fury and hunger. Souta waited patiently until the lion was only a few feet away before swiftly sidestepping and delivering a quick slash with his katana.
The lion roared in pain as its front paw was severed, but it did not stop. It continued to charge towards Souta, its jaws wide open, ready to take a bite out of him. Souta ducked and rolled under the lion, slicing its other front paw off in the process.
The lion landed on the ground with a thud, but it was not done yet. It turned around and lunged towards Souta, but Souta was ready. He jumped onto the lion's back and rode it like a rodeo bull.
The lion thrashed around, trying to throw Souta off, but Souta held on tight. With one swift move, he plunged his katana into the lion's skull, ending its life.
The horde of zombies that had been watching the fight started to back away, knowing that they had no chance against someone as powerful as Souta. Souta sheathed his katana and turned to face them.
"Who's next?" he said with a smirk, and the zombies turned and ran away as fast as they could. "Oh no, you don't," Souta said and went to them, killing them one by one their fear increased panicking their instinct is telling them to run as fast as they can just to get away from what kind of monster thay are facing.
Souta Summoned his left hundreds of drones to let them take care of the rest
The rest of the team stared in awe at Souta's incredible display of skill and power.
"Wow, that was amazing," Emily said.
"I can't believe how strong he is," Nana added.
"He's truly a force to be reckoned with," Stacy said with a grin.
Albert just chuckled and said, "I knew he had it in him."
Souta and Yuki walked back towards the group, and Souta sheathed his katana once more.
"Let's go," he said simply, and the group nodded in agreement. They got back into the vehicle, ready to continue their journey through the zombie-infested wasteland.
