Chapter 1: Love At First Sight
His blonde hair caught my sight. I was too enthralled that I couldn't find myself to look away. It feels like the world is in slow motion as this tall, blonde man walks in front of me. And then, he suddenly turned and looked at my direction. I feel stunned! Am I looking like a fool? I can't stop staring! My heartbeat goes Dum-dum-dum-dum-dum. Too fast like I'm running in a marathon.
He has the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. His lashes are thick and curled upwards his almond shaped eye. His eye color is a beautiful chestnut brown with a hint of green. His nose is prominent and lips are pinkish and thin. He's got a tanned complexion. He is not buff nor he is thin. He's in perfect athletic shape. And the most amazing thing is, he is wearing an orange striped socks. He looks casual but oozing with sizzling hotness. But, his eyes, there is something in his eyes. I can see sadness and shyness in his eyes. As if he's afraid that there's something wrong with him. I kept my eye in contact with him. Then, he looked away.
Seriously?! What could go wrong with him? He belongs to a well-known family in the Philippines. He sure must be living his life since the last news I've heard of him is he is in Hawaii fulfilling his surfing dream. But his eyes speak something else. As if he is lonely. My heart hurts.
The phone rings... "Riiiiing!!!!"
"This is Sunrise Corp. Goodafternoon. Atlantis, speaking. How may I help you?"
Gosh, Atlantis! Wake up! You've been staring at our boss's son since he entered our office. You're definitely dumbstruck. Do you even know who I am? Hahaha!
Oh. I'm sorry. Of course I know you! You're so sneaky, Lucia! I can't help it. So, the rumor is true. Our boss's son is really a demi-god.
Yeah, for you obviously. Since you like those scruffy bad boy looking men.
But he really is handsome! And hooooot! His name is Enrico right?, Atlantis asked.
Yes. Stop staring. He already is inside our manager's office. Or you want me to send you inside? Hahahahahaha!
Hahahahahaha! Lucia, you know me so well. I'll do whatever it is just to get a closer look with Enrico!
"Okay! Bring them both 2 glasses of cold water. Hahaha! You're so funny, Atlantis!" Lucia says laughing.
"Thanks, Lucia!" Atlantis said giddily.
Atlantis then went to the pantry and prepared two glasses of water to bring inside the manager's office.
"Knock-knock-knock".
"Come in." Manager Sy said.
When she got inside the room, Enrico looked at her directly. "Good afternoon, Sir and Ma'am. Here's two glasses of water for your refreshments before the meeting starts." Atlantis offered.
"Thank you, Atlantis." Manager Sy replied.
While facing each person, Atlantis said, "Let me know if you will need anything more, Sir, Ma'am."
Enrico then smiled at her and opened his mouth to reply. "Thank you, At- - ?"
Manager Sy interrupted, "Atlantis, Sir. Her name is Atlantis."
"Mmmm... Atlantis. Thank you, Atlantis." Enrico said smiling shyly and slowly.
And Atlantis heart melted when Enrico pronounced her name carefully as if he's memorising it letter per letter.
"You're welcome, Sir." Atlantis then turned around to go out the office.
