Chapter 2: Greetings Human
Sunday morning at 7:00 am...
In the outskirt of the Phora City, wide plains can be seen next to it is a forest where trees are huge reaching at least 10th story tall, between them are a little town called 'Vardis' where people who've been abandoned are currently residing, some are beggar, thief, prostitute, etc. It's basically the people who cannot easily enter the city.
Since the existence of the 'System,' there are people who now pursue strength, because they know that strength can achieve anything, money, woman, authority, everything. Because of that discrimination happens between the people who are strong and weak.
The stronger people gain everything they want, they gain money, woman, power, they live happily and comfortably inside the city.
The weaker people that don't have a proper or usable 'JOB' or don't have any use at all will be thrown out of the city, the Phora City is part of one of the five continents that currently existed called 'Starvein'.
The world they live in now is called 'Gaia' it's the Earth's alternative name, the people thought that changing the name of their planet is reasonable, also because of that different countries start changing their names.
On Gaia, the 'System' has existed for over 397 years. In those years so many things have happened and it's a miracle that humanity still exists and thriving because after the 'Celestial' gave the system to humanity in just a month they saw the result of its power, some people felt something inside them, they called it 'Soul' and by using this suddenly they can generate fire, not only that but some people can also use water, earth or wind.
There are also some people who use swords, spears, etc. And these people suddenly became much stronger and using the 'Soul' they can generate the so-called 'Will' in their weapon, and with this, they can create massive destruction, but that depends on its user.
But the problem is that the people who receive the system are only those who reach the age of 10 but people can also receive the system by the age of 12, 15, 18, and 20. But of course, all the people on earth receive the 'System' for the first time and if they had a child they needed the age requirement to acquire the 'System' itself.
The earlier you receive the system, the higher the chance of receiving a better 'JOB' you may also receive a second job if you're very lucky, and if you receive your system at the age of 20 the higher the chance you may not receive any job at all, making the system useless.
Years passed by and something happened, because of the system people seek more power and strength that's why they start demanding other people's countries to surrender or there will be a bloodbath, because of that World War III had happened.
World War III killed countless people, but that didn't stop there. Different countries start launching nukes killing more and more people and all of that starts because of the 'Greed' of the people seeking strength and power.
The war lasted for 5 years, because of the destruction and deaths, it was hard to restore most of the country and 1 year after that the people that are involved in the war sign a peace treaty and years after years only 5 continents remain and people named them Wildehold, Hazelfort, Starvein, Oxhelm, Mythall, many people thought that this name came straight out of the fantasy but when they remember that even they can now use magic the names of the continent are acceptable to the age that was about to come.
Since that day the 'System', World War III, The Peace Treaty happens and people thought that peace has finally come and it's been 80 years since all of that happens, but something change when the system that celestial gave to humanity suddenly lit up and a notification pop up.
