Chapter 10: 10-The Storm

They were seconds, seconds that seemed eternal.

As if time stopped only for him to feel the pain in his body that much more. It wasn't just the increasing cold that immediately grew in his body to the point that he wasn't sure if he should now consider himself a block of ice.

In addition to the cold, he felt his muscles tighten fracturing his bones and those bones that fractured penetrated his muscles and organs.

'Stop stop stop'

'It hurts it hurts a lot'

If the world was becoming slow for him, his consciousness had become very fast. Though the only use it did him any good was that he could now concentrate more on the pain and cheer in a mental cry his wish for this to stop.

That somehow 5 seconds ago he would have thought things through better.

Maybe he could have asked more about the aura, maybe he would have even inquired about the change in his body that could happen if he awakened his Aura.

'Why did I make this stupid decision without thinking about it?'

He couldn't say it openly, he did it because he got excited.

In a way he got excited, he got excited to see what it was like to feel that power, it generated a reckless longing in him that led him here.

Without him realizing it he felt how quickly some palms were placed on his back, making the cold move in his body, he could immediately feel all the strange energy in his body become more evident.

It was no longer just a cold sensation, but now he could see the path he was traveling, this time he could feel and see the aura in his body.

As it entered his bones and in the part where his aura was the most, it was crystallizing his bones as if they were ice, making them so fragile that they were torn apart by the force of the muscles.

He could see how the aura accumulated in his muscles, in the part where there was more aura these became so fragile that his broken bones could penetrate them.

The aura constantly accumulated randomly in every part of his body, in some parts, it accumulated more in other parts it barely accumulated, it was an uncontrolled energy like a beast that was mercilessly tearing his body apart.

He wanted to scream but his lips were so cold that they hit like ice.

Enola who is behind continued to introduce her Aura to Evan guiding in an orderly manner the aura in his body, but the situation was getting worse and worse.

Evan's aura type was of the rather uncontrolled and disobedient type; Moyor conicity as a Berserker Aura.

On top of that it was an Ice elemental aura, Enola had no idea about elemental auras, not that she hadn't come across people who possessed this type of aura throughout her life.

But handling an elemental aura was different from a normal aura, the aura is something that is inside your body, a manifestation so personal to the body that it could be considered apart from the soul and the body.

There is no core or origin where one could suppress the aura, if she wanted to take steps to suppress Evan's aura, she would have to turn off Evan's aura and this is detrimental to Evan's health.

That was not among his options.

The old vampire at his side is right now putting his fingers into Evan's veins that were in the wrist, directing his blood through Evan's body, constantly healing every wound.

The she-wolf and the demon quickly made their way to the living room where Lya and Alexandra, who had better means of handling Evan's situation, were standing.

Evan blinked frantically, tears streaming from his eyes and they crystallized like frost, generating constant irritation in his eyes.

Blink

Blinking

Blink

On the third blink, the world changed.

The white moon was now a moon releasing a silvery light.

The ground where he was lying before turned to liquid, a liquid so cold similar to the temperature of his body.

His body relaxed, and so did his aura, all the cold was transmitted into his body but it did not harm him.

The cold temple his body so that his uncontrolled aura spread throughout his body evenly, even coming out of it freezing the liquid but it only lasted a few seconds frozen before it was liquid again.

Evan under the relief fainted as he no longer felt pain.

***

Evan woke up sitting on a rock, far from everything and lonely.

There was no one around besides stones and grayish sand, the place where he suddenly appeared was unrecognizable to Evan.

The world was strange, but in a way, he felt safe and unafraid.

He saw again to the right and far away from him a few hundred kilometers away, a white storm that was spinning like a hurricane was approaching him.

The moment his eyes focused on the storm he couldn't help but feel a chill run through his body. The more he watched the storm the more he was impressed by it.

The storm was changing nature as if it were the king, every centimeter it advanced plunged the place into an ice age, Several lightning bolts fell from the sky creating flames but these flames at the moment of being hit by the storm were transformed.

The fire should heat and release sparks, began to cool and release snow. The other flames that could not resist the change created by the storm were extinguished.
