Chapter 6: Dinner With Qin Feng

'F**k.' This can not happen right. I am seeing a green shining object in the guest room while cleaning.
It can't be something of him
I took a deep breath to calm myself down and take a look at that object.
"Oh my god!" It's a shiny green jade and I am guessing that It's a piece of imperial jade.
I suck in a breath. I am not shocked about how expensive it is, ok I am a little bit shocked about it, but this clearly belongs to Qin Feng.
Why did I not notice it earlier?
I sigh. If you think that I must have noticed it that night , then I was too exhausted. I don't remember the exact details either.
Anyways, the problem in front of me is not that right now.
What am I supposed to do with this now?
It must be so expensive, even though I don't know much about jade, anyone can tell the difference between a top quality thing.
I can't submit it to the police either.
Am I moving low on luck these days. Do I really have no option other than meeting him?
Is someone playing some tricks or what?
I called his assistant, thankful that he gave me his number, and told him that I wanted to meet Qin Feng.
He agreed enthusiastically as if I just informed him that he won some kind of lottery.
He texts me that he has scheduled the dinner and gave me the address.
I just want to give this back to him, How it became me having dinner in such a fancy restaurant.
He is going to think that I was just acting nice earlier, not that I care about it a single bit.
He can go and think about all the bad things about me.
Even though I kept my cool yesterday in the morning I can't promise I would be quiet if he said something.
I can understand that you are all big and used to scheming people, but you should still not judge everyone.
As I'd everyone in this world is after his money, well maybe they are but I am not one of them.
I am going to snap back at him.
I wore a simple top and skirt and did some light makeup and drove to the hotel.
Wait, judging by his reaction yesterday I don't think he would be eating with me since he was so disgusted.
That would be a fun thing to watch.
I reached and told the hotel staff about my appointment and they took me to a private room.
Perks of being rich, he should be a whole bank.
I opened the door and thanked the hotel staff who guided me before looking into the room.
He was already sitting there, probably waiting for me.
And Did I mention he is looking gorgeous in a tux. Even those words to describe beauty won't do any justice to him.
I did not take a good look at him that night and yesterday in those short pajamas, I don't know how to describe that. He was looking cute and sexy at the same time.
Anyways, So what if he got such a face , his heart is still rotten.
Qin Feng looked up and met my eyes after hearing the door open. Whatever expression he had on his face vanished and got replaced by a cold exterior.
I don't know what lies beneath that nor am I interested in knowing it either.
"I thought it would take you some time but you surprised me by showing your lack of patience. " He said disdainfully.
The audacity of him to say that. I mentally prepared myself, but I still feel like strangling him to death right now.
"What if you change your mind?" I retort and sit on the chair opposite him.
I was going to go easy on him but since he is so bent on annoying me then why not.
"Since I practically saved your life." which was not the case at all but since he thinks I am greedy then let him think that.
"You can at least treat me to dinner before I state my terms." I say.
It might look like a simple invitation but it is not in his case.
Now I am enjoying this. He is scowling at my statement.
I want to laugh so badly at that. I smirk at him.
I call the waiter and order the few most expensive dishes they have.
The guy in front of me is hella rich.
He just thinks that I am a money grubber and I am proving him right.
And by expensive I mean it would cost me my whole salary. I wonder if they add pearls and diamonds in their food for it to be so expensive.
"You change your mind pretty quick. Huh." Qin Feng said sarcastically.
I ignored his comment as I saw the waiter bringing the food in.
Woah, this tastes like heaven.
Except the man in front of me is scowling so hard that someone just served him shit.
Well it might be because he has to sit on the same table as me.
I bet it would have been the first time someone forced him to do something against his will.
I lower my gaze as I focus on my food, because if I kept looking at his expression my mood would dampen.
God, this Peking duck is so delicious. It has to be one of the best I ever tasted.
As I imagined, he did not even touch the food while I ate to my heart's content.
I never thought I would enjoy myself while pissing someone off this much.
"You have the habit of assuming others' actions , I guess. If it is like that then I am pretty much happy to prove you wrong. " I say after completing my meal.
"Are you sure about that?" He said like I made the biggest joke of the century.
I roll my eyes.
I took out the imperial jade and his eyes widened slightly.
"I don't know why you carried such a precious item with you and why you would forget it in a person's house you absolutely loathe."
He picked up the jade from the table and did not say anything.
I don't know what he is thinking or feeling at this moment but I know for sure he can't say something to me at this moment.
Maybe he is regretting it a little bit but he is too proud to admit that.
"I thought Mr. Qin would know that you should not judge someone when you don't know them. If I would have been after your money or something, I would not have returned this to you." I say with a smile.
I was jumping in my mind. WooHoo I have been bearing the attitude of these rich people for so long.
I never talked back to them because that was my work. Now when I could actually tell them their place it feels so good.
They think of themselves as God, like we should bow down to them.
I say one more thing before I exit the room.
"You must want to return my favor so badly so that you can be free so I would give you the chance, please don't show me this ugly face of yours again. Thank you."
Woah, Now that must have hurt him but who cares. It must be the first time someone told him he is ugly.
He comes behind me shortly, but I ignore his presence and continue to walk ahead.
A girl is looking at me in horror as I exit the hotel.
After seeing carefully she is actually terrified about the person behind me.
She is with a boy and they both are in some school uniform. He must be her friend or her boyfriend.
"Brother!" She says and I turn to look at the person whom she called.
Suddenly everything fell in place. She is Qin Feng's sister who got caught with her boyfriend by her brother.
"Who is he?" Qin Feng asks through greeted teeth.
I wonder if he ever smiles or is he always like the world owes him something.
"My friend." She says. And anyone could tell it by the way she answered that the guy beside her was anything but her friend.
"Come home early. " With that statement Qin Feng moved past us and went to his car.
Maybe he is a little nice to his sister, he left her and did not interrupt her date.
Though the guy looks terrified but still trying to show a brave front. Poor him.
I slipped away from there like I was just a passerby who happened to see this scene and understood nothing.
I don't want to be associated with him. It would be beneficial for both of us.
I spent the rest of the week as I planned. I ate , binge watched dramas and I slept a lot.
