Chapter 30: Conversation with Tenten

"That whole conversation was mainly to get me into bed, I have no doubt about that. But you really are greedy. With so many beauties awaiting your return, you continue to go around seducing defenseless maidens." – said Tenten in a tone between joke and serious.
At that moment we were both lying in bed looking at the ceiling or out the window just passing the time.
The previous night's experience caused her to take a step back from the prospect of continuing what we had started.
She was clearly afraid of liking it too much.
"I really am. Because I prefer to go home as quickly as possible." – I said in a casual tone.
Tenten understood what I was doing.
She had received a huge load of information and she was processing it, my casualness was a key support point for her to deal with all the doubts that arose in her mind.
"Who is the other woman you have seduced so far?" – she asked curiously.
My arm pulled her closer to me making her replace my arm with my chest as a pillow.
"Ichiraku's Ayame." – I said.
Tenten raised her head and looked at me steadily.
"I understand one of the reasons why, but she's an ordinary person, isn't she?" – she asked, somewhat confused.
I stroked her back, still without losing my casual tone.
"She reminds me of someone I knew." – I replied.
"You must have this kind of feeling often." – she commented.
I shook my head.
"It's difficult to find people similar to my wives, they always keep something unique within them that makes their personalities stand out from the rest." – I said looking at the ceiling.
I could see Tenten raising a curious eyebrow.
"People can have extremely similar dreams, tastes, appearances, creations and many other things. But at the end of the day, it's impossible for you to have one person like another." – I explained.
She put a finger to her mouth and looked thoughtful.
It took a few minutes for her to think hard about what I had said. As she thought I could notice the weight on her shoulders slowly lifting.
"I didn't know I needed to hear that. Even though the prospect of being like Tsunade-sama was one of the factors that made me accept being here, now I no longer feel so pressured to follow that path." – she confessed when she finished thinking.
I smiled and kissed her forehead.
Tenten relaxed even more and almost went back to sleep after that.
Trying to shake off sleep, she stretched out and climbed over my body, placing her chin delicately on my chest.
"Ayame-san and you… – she began.
"I think what you are thinking will take a long time or even never happen." – I said, interrupting her.
Tenten pouted in protest.
"I'm sure I'll find someone to play with you, but Ayame probably isn't that person." – I tried to comfort her.
She became strange briefly.
"I wasn't suggesting that kind of thing." – she protested, looking away from me.
That just made me laugh.
"I analyzed your Yin and Yang balance, it was lucky for me that you were still interested in me. In the future this interest would probably cease to exist." – I explained to her.
Tenten blushed that I revealed her secret so casually.
"Anyone in mind?" – I asked trying to get her out of that feeling of guilt.
She gave up.
"No one in particular." – she said finally looking at me.
She really wasn't thinking about anyone, despite her preferences she must have suppressed that side to the point of not noticing anyone special to her.
I caressed her face for a few moments, debating with myself.
"I have cultivated more of a friendship like I did with you, she will probably protest at first, but she seems to be part of the same group as you." – I said, breaking the silence.
"Same group as me?" – she asked, confused and curious.
I took a deep breath.
"Among my wives, I separate them into three groups depending on the way they approach sex. The first group is those who only have sex with me and no one else, probably Ayame's case, the second group is those who have sex to cultivate faster while I'm away and the third and final group is made up of my wives who have sex because they enjoy the activity." – I explained.
Tenten was alerted by my explanation.
"Who do they have sex with? I thought you were possessive about that talk about being the only man in my life." – she said without knowing exactly the feeling that was inside her.
I flicked her forehead.
"Each other. We were talking about this a few seconds ago and you already forgot." – I said, pretending to be angry.
Her eyes widened.
"I thought it was just with you present." – she confessed.
I laughed briefly.
"I spend hundreds of years sometimes without being able to return, what kind of monster would I be if I denied them from doing what they wanted without betraying my trust." – I said.
"You mean if…" – she began.
"If she wants to and I'm far away, nothing stops you." – I assured her.
This prospect seemed to ignite a flame of curiosity within her.
"Who is she?" – asked Tenten.
"Yamanaka Ino" – I replied.
Tenten seemed to try to pull from the memory.
"Does she hang out with the fat and the lazy one? – she asked thoughtfully.
"That's right, they're her team." – I replied.
"I saw her a few times, where we met for the first time, with them." – she explained.
After a few more moments of thinking, she completed it.
"She is beautiful." – said Tenten with a somewhat enigmatic smile.
I didn't know if it was a good idea to tell her this or not. But now it was too late.
