Chapter 116: The Red Coffin Bearer

It has been months since his peaceful home had turned noisy. Since that very first time, the coffin had a reaction sleep had eluded Simon.

He looked at the two puppets, Gold and Blue who lay down immobile on the floor. They had been offline since the first rumble.

Simon left the little hut and walked down to the edge of the sea.

It was an indefinite sea of blood.

Blood seeped across the dark ground, slowly gathering into the surging crimson river. Piles of bones and mounds of skulls, the red of the blood and the white of the bones seemed to form a chateau of death.

In the centre of it all, right in the middle of the surging waters was a coffin radiating immense pressure. It was made of redwood and had gold markings on it. At this minute both the sea and the coffin were vibrating tremendously. It was getting louder with each passing moment.
