Chapter 43: The moment

With a self-comfort to himself, he would assume the little runt was too small to take notice of his minor absence.

And he would promise himself to work harder the next day, in order to create enough time to spend with him. However, this process wouldn't last long, with the constant mental and physical stress he would face as the after-effects.

He could only create a mental shield, to catch up later, Tobi's strong side also never ceased to amaze him always exhibiting one funny habit to the other.

As Tobi grew he also became fond of his sisters, they were always there to take up the perfect moment to play with him and read him lullabies when he was bored and would always portray an attitude of a loving mother more than a sister to him.

Which made him subconsciously dub them as his second mama, even though he would have loved to express all of his affection, all he could do was throw little baby tantrums which would make them laugh and smile.

It wasn't much, but it meant the world to them.

As time went by.

After more than a year from his birth, Tobi was out on the ground and would be under strict supervision. In the fourteenth month, he graduated himself from babble words to real ones.

On the day of his birthday, that was actually the day he discovered they also celebrated birthdays in the new world too.

Though the method was primitive since they use the changing of seasons to calculate months and years. On that day he allowed himself to make use of simple phrases and as well started to make questions to fuel his vocabulary since he already knew how to talk in all languages thanks to the system.

Knowing nothing about his environment, he couldn't pour out all his questions all at once and could only do it step by step, while finding the right timing for when, and when not to do something...

He was already capable of understanding all of what he could hear, so he would always be open to listening to what interested him to make "questions" of his own.

Everyone had expectations from him, as they were filled with anticipations from what he would do next, but he would wait a couple of days before making it happen, so as to reduce much of their expectations.

Another problem came when they would let him roam free in the house with something like a four-wheel babysitter, Christopher had specifically made for him.

Which also had a handle for navigation and control. While expecting him to play and explore his surroundings with a wooden toy.

Tobi without even using his abilities or skill already knew the whole house like the back of his hands, and there was not much to take note of in the first place. Yet he had to pretend or at least show some sort of curiously over it.

That was the hardest thing he had ever done since becoming a baby and it always gives him anxiety. He had no clue how a child would find such a bland environment seemingly interesting to explore.

Apparently, our Tobi had forgotten he wasn't a normal child, and again his paranoia and the wooden sitter against his crotch made him sweat bullets within his pants.

Seeing them express their expectations and curiosity, he couldn't let them down moreover he had no other choice but to comply.

So he decided to start from the nearest place, from his sitter which was the rooms.

Strolling over to the door that led towards the inner bedrooms, he looked left and tried to determine what could possibly bring chaos. Since they wanted war, then he would give them war.

What lies after or rather what he first took note of, was a high wooden cabinet a few inches above his head. When he got closer, he forcefully rammed his babysitter as he bumped onto the cabinet, while using its solid wooden body as a crutch, he could see a few neatly folded clothes.

Tobi looked at them, swinging both his hands to the left and right aggressively, the clothes fell on the floor. Immediately Christy came in, and just in time to see the clothes, she had just folded a while ago on the floor 'Scattered.

"Oh mother, Dear our little son sure likes to cause a ruckus with the clothes."

Seeing them impress their worries on their expressions with a look of anticipation, Tobi believed he had found a way out of his torment and forged his way through.

He would keep causing a ruckus by scattering clothes, as he didn't like the idea of putting himself in danger, what of if he were to mistakenly cut himself with a sharp object?

And his parents saw his wound heal almost immediately, he was sure it would definitely cause an unnecessary commotion.

In the end, resulting in blowing his cover. Since there wouldn't be a reasonable explanation for all that. Soon they quickly decided that his adventure time was over.

After that day, they made him sit on an old mat spread over the floor, to limit his movement they gave him a little wooden mannequin to play with while they recovered from the stress.

Playing was much easier this way, Tobi did not need to explain or make up stories tales, except the mouth-animated sounds to match up to his action and play.

One thing he noticed was that the toy felt weightless like it was made out of thin air. Moving with it was easier,' Unless am becoming crazily powerful, crushing this wooden toy to bits and pieces should take less than an instant.'

He felt excited if this was just the benefits of using his medication techniques and strength stats.

How awesome would his other abilities, technique, and skill be?

With all these thoughts in his mind, he would openly scream and laugh to himself, as he wholeheartedly enjoyed all these moments. Every new discovery or breakthrough made him rejoice, and all his parents would see was a happy child lost in his own fantasy world.

"Who would have ever thought that children everyone labeled as demon babies could have such vivid imaginations on cloud nine? With a normal life as well?."

"Look at him, such an innocent child. Those damn villagers and their beliefs, how could they even believe a harmless Child would be able to hurt a fly? Ain't they being deceived by those people?."

"Five years from now, we would be saying a damn goodbye to this damn village."
