Chapter 37: You want to be the Queen?

KARA'S POV

"We need to show them that you have a card up your sleeve, give them an offer they can't refuse." I told the dukes "What if you use me?" I then suggested.

"What?" Griffith asked confused.

"We tell them that the princess is on their side. They might be more willing to listen to us if they know we're all conspiring together. no one would anticipate that the princess herself is actually against the king." I further elaborated.

All three dukes' eyes widened in surprise.

"I understand that telling them the princess is working with us is unprecedented but how would that convince them that they should help us?" Griffith questioned.

"We tell them the truth, we tell them that I have turned against the king and want to overthrow the throne joining you three to achieve that."

They all kept quiet as they looked at me but I continued to explain myself.
