Chapter 16: Open heart
Getting close to Naledi was close to impossible, he built a shield around himself thinking Dikano was some sort of a perve or maybe worse a phedeophile,fact that he was not married and didn't have kids made things worse. Ditiro wanted to go have a word with this man that was making his son uncomfortable at school,but countless times Naledi stopped her because as school president he has to get along with principal.
Dikano invited Naledi and Lwazi over to his house for strategy meeting, at first Naledi was skeptic but seeing that Lwazi will also be there he agreed. When they arrived at Dikano's house Naledi's mind was put at ease when Dikano introduced Mona his fiance.
Now Naledi began to open his heart a bit to Dikano ,he enjoyed all the activities organized by Dikano.
But Dikano was determined to get on his son's good side .He even went with him and Lwazi almost everywhere he went.That day Ditiro had asked Naledi to call him evey few hours and he forgot.
Hours passed and Dikano saw it best to treat Naledi and Lwazi to a movie. Ditiro began to worry when Naledi was not answering his phone so she drove to Dikano's house . They passed each other and neither realized it.
Mona opened the door when she heard a knock .
"Hi ,I'm Naledi's mother may I speak to him "
"You just missed them ,they went to watch a movie.Let me call my fiance then you can talk to him."
So that little misunderstanding was quickly solved, Mona and Ditiro chatted up a storm and even exchanged numbers.They had so much in common, little did they know that they share a love interest.
Dikano and Naledi seem to have a lot in common too , same sense of humor, they enjoy same food and they even like to drink water in between their meals. It all made Lwazi feel a little left out.
