Chapter 2: Disastrous Relationships

I started talking to my first boyfriend when I was 13 years old. We met in my neighborhood while he was playing football. We were just kinds and I was looking for something that I wasn't getting at home.

We exchanged numbers and kept in constant contact for a few months before he asked me to be his girlfriend. We were just two kids with no clue about relationships. We were together for two years and during that time we saw each other 3-4 times.

He was busy with his studies and extracurricular activities. I was busy with my studies and family drama. The relationship was good until I got bored, as well I felt like I was a lot more mature than him so I decided to end the relationship. He didn't take it well at all. We argued for a good 30 minutes before he finally excepted it and that was the end of that.

Until I started talking to an eleventh grader while in ninth grade. I truly liked him but again, it ended quickly. I honestly don't even remember much about that relationship except that we ended on bad terms. It was like a passing faze.

The next boyfriend was also an eleventh grader. He was considered one of the popular boys, while I on the other hand was a complete nobody, just the way I liked it. He was all about the spotlight. Sometimes I would ask myself why he was even with me. We argued so much that eventually we broke up. It was like I kept kissing frogs hoping eventually one would turn into a prince.

I met the next guy online of all places. He was the guy that helped me realize that I was not okay emotionally. I would spontaneously start crying leaving him confused. He was there for me through all of it, the lashing out and every other out cries I had. He gave me the warmth, comfort and love that I needed to get my anger issues in check. He completely changed my life for the better....
