Chapter 13: Chapter Thirteen
Juliette wasn't paying attention to where Fiona was bringing her, she had thought it was going to be a fast food place. Fiona was a foreigner, even if she was rich, a place like Jasper's of The Sea needed a year long wait. She wasn't prepared to just walk in and a manager personally show them to the top floor that had an amazing view of the city with no one else on the floor.
Juliette kept her mouth shut about paying Fiona back, if Fiona can get the VIP floor with no problems, she didn't need her little change. Juliette also known that she wouldn't be able to afford any dishes when they had no prices on the menu. The only numbers on it was the page numbers. Looking at the names, she was confused, the seafood was foreign and so was the language.
Her debt to Fiona was getting bigger and bigger. She started to worry that maybe the alpha had bad thoughts about her. Maybe this was her plan along, using the gift culture of her people to trap her in a relationship. She read about it on a couple forums, Juliette thought it was just young omegas imagining about meeting rich foreigners who used the gift culture. It was a common troupe in tv dramas and novels online.
She can only be rude then if it comes down to it, she will just use the dating culture of Fiona's– Fiona's dating culture is the 'dominate' partner pays for the other person that they want to date or court. So do Juliette miss something earlier? Is she being courted? Juliette looked at the happy alpha across from her, how does she go about this? She needed to get to the dating forums and ask about how to go about this.

Fiona went to heaven, the food was to die for. The seaweed had no sand or broken shells, the fish eggs was fresh and the amount of grease was perfect. When they brought the crab meat in a bowl with no shells with melted butter, she wanted to grin. The last time someone fixed her crabs for her was when she was ten.
When Fiona got to the roasted oysters, she happily picked it up and started to eat it. On her first chew, she felt a hard object in it. Fiona blinked, feeling confused before she grabbed a napkin and spat out the barely chewed oyster on it. A glimpse of a golden pearl came from the oyster, Fiona blinked slowly.
Is this a gimmick?
Wrinkling her nose as she used a spoon to take it out the meat, the pearl was even bigger than she thought. Staring at the pearl, she wondered what she was supposed to do with it. Looking at Juliette who was eating her food, looking a lot more elegant and sophisticated than she could ever hope to be, she decided since she didn't care, maybe it was normal.
Fiona set it aside and moved onto the next oyster, only to froze when she felt another hard object in her food. She decided to carefully eat around it before spitting it out. She wouldn't eat the oyster after she spits it out. She didn't care if it was her own saliva, there is no way she will eat food that was in someone's mouth.
This pearl was smaller but still perfectly round, maybe they are cultivated pearls. Which meant they lied about it being all natural food. She picked up the third oyster and wanted to curse, this was too much!! Fiona carefully dug into every one, pearl after pearl were find. She even found a dime sized pearl in the largest oyster. Who would believe that there was pearls in every shell?!
Fiona angrily ate the oysters, how was someone to enjoy their food when they put fake pearls in them?! She had to talk to her father and ask what his friend was doing in his restaurants.
She hopes that idiot will choke on a pearl!

Juliette enjoyed the food, everything was amazing. When she took the last bite of her octopus, she looked up, only to feel shock. On the table next to Fiona were ten pearls of various sizes, did she bring them here?
Where did she have them? She left her bag in the car and her pants were tight.
"I can't believe they put pearls into the oysters," Fiona sighed. "I will have to talk to the waiter later."
Juliette: They...They came from-that means-

Fiona was pretty sure that the manager was lying when they said they didn't put any pearls, how could she found them in every single one? But she could only nod and take them with her after paying for the meal. She sent a photo to her father and told him what happened. He only sent a text back, saying he will talk to his friend later.
She dropped off Juliette at the dorms and went back to the apartment she had got after a test. It was only ten minutes away from the school and it has a amazing hot tube that she liked to soak in after a long day of being around a lot of people. It helps getting rid of the smells easier than taking a simple shower. She still doesn't get how the original Fiona had handled the smells. It grates on her nerves a lot, maybe that's why she was always so grumpy and rude.
The pearls got thrown into a bowl next to the door when she got home. It looked nice, maybe she will get a glass vase and put some flowers in it. She wondered if she can buy more pearls like the ones she got today. She sent another message to her dad and asked if he could ask his friend where he got the pearl and if he can buy them for her.
Dad (⌐■_■): No problem, I will have Assistant Row buy and bring them to you. How many?
Fiona ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ: Idk, 100??? I don't care about the size, they just have to look good as the ones I have.
Dad (⌐■_■): Do you want Assistant Row to look for a jeweler?
