Chapter 564: 564. Cold Heart

It was time for the last meal and Mauve's brows knitted as she realized just how scanty the dining hall was. Well, that was compared to the first meal.

Lord Levaton and his daughter were gone. Lady Marceline and her mate were equally nowhere to be seen. Erick, however, was back. He didn't look to be in a good mood though and Mauve figured something must have happened.

The meal ended without many conversations and she found herself back in the room. Even though she had literally spent all day in bed she found that she was eager to return.

She settled in bed, having already washed up, and was ready to sleep. She curled up to Jael and realized she felt tired. She yawned, stretching slightly before she curled up, ready to sleep.

"You're that tired?"

She nodded, "My limbs feel weak." She thought it was a lot odd because she had spent the entire day in bed.

"Get some sleep," he ordered and she nodded.

"Yep, I will."
