Chapter 54: THE FUN PART
"Okay, let's just find another topic to talk about, but first, we will have to make a toast. To the new friends we have here, we are here because we are friends, and we are sisters, sisters. I hope that we can always be together, and we will always be best friends." Zara raised her glass.
"To the new friends we have here, we are here for each other, and with this, we promise that whatever will happen to us in this journey. The journey to be in the sorority as well as the journey to life and whatever will come ahead. We will always trust each other. Girls, we will have each other's backs, and we know that trust will start in honesty, right? However, I also know that we are honest with every one of us here. So, let's cheers for that," Leira raised her glass to the girls next to Zara, and the rest followed.
With the sound of the clink of their wine glasses was a voice from inside the sorority house calling their attention.
"Excused me, girls, you are called inside. The MI has an essential message to tell you." One of the sorority sisters made their way to them.
However, before she could reach them, each girl stood up from their seats and went back inside the house.
"Why is the MI calling us? Are we going to have an initiation right now?" Zara asked. She said it without actually meaning something. It's just coming out to her tackless mouth, as always happened. However, she wasn't expecting the answer she received.
"You got a good intuition girl, that must be your talent."
The five girls looked at each other as their heartbeat started to pump harder and even about to jump out of their chest. They weren't expecting to have another initiation that moment, so they aren't really ready.
Uneasiness and anxiousness were shown in their faces. Mostly every initiation they have to face is either life-wrecking or can literally kill them. That they couldn't help but feel that this next initiation could possibly kill them this time. They were just lucky enough with the last initiations they had. What if they won't be lucky in this one?
Inside Ella's mind was the memory of the faces of the missing girls after the first initiation. Could they be dead, and they died in the initiation, and the sorority just bury them somewhere like a dead rodent caught in the ceiling?
The more Ella overthink about that, the more her heart hammered strongly under her ribcage. That she didn't realize she was rotted on the spot, in front of the door. Zara noticed her and woke her up from being in deep thoughts.
"Hey, are you okay?" Zara slightly shakes her arms as she was holding her.
Ella looked at Zara blankly and slightly shook her head the moment she got her consciousness back.
"Uhh, y-yes, I'm okay, of course, I'm fine." Ella blurted.
"Are you nervous?" Zara asked as she slides her hands on Ella's palm, feeling the cold sweats in her hands.
"Yes, I am," she didn't hide it. She had already trusted these girls, and they promised to trust each other. And, so she didn't feel the need to hide whatever she was feeling at that moment. However, she was also aware that it wouldn't be the best time for her to tell Zara or other girls, whatever she saw in her little investigative research. Especially since they were in the sorority house. Walls have ears, and who knows. Yet, it may be true or not if the sorority will know that they are suspecting them. Their effort to get all the perks that the sorority offers will be gone totally like bubbles in the wind. That also includes their dream. Specifically, her dream to finish college and being in the sorority was so far the best way to achieve that.
"I know, you are because I am too. But don't worry, I am here. We are here for each other. We will be doing it together and be successful in doing it together, okay?" Zara patted in her arms, and it did give her comfort.
The five girls were sent in the middle of the room, where almost all the sorority sisters were there as well as their all-time party visitors the players of the University team 'The Fangs'.
They just stand there, trying their best to be as calm as possible. At the same time, holding each other's hands. Not long, the MI came out with her usual glamorous black mini dress with a hoodie that she usually wore. They were allowed to wear anything during parties, as long as it was fashionable enough for the occasion. That means no jeans and shirts were allowed. They must be either glamour or sexy.
The MI walked her way to the center as the girls held their breaths, ready to hear what she was about to say.
However, the MI gave them a sly and smirking smile before opening her mouth, which made the girls more nervous. Her expression truly looked like a threat that they will be facing something life-defying again.
"Good evening girls, are you ready for our next initiation?" One side of her lips twitched before she continued. "Don't hold your breath, relax, calm your muscles, for this initiation is nothing but a fun, pleasure and will be the best experience you can ever have. For tonight you won't fight for your life but to know the best way to enjoy your sorority life. However, my apology, girls, because you can't have it all. You just have to choose between dildo or cocaine."
Dennise smiled as she loosens her breath from worries, "at least this is fun'" she muttered.
However, Ella, on the other hand, got cold sweats all over her forehead down to her neck.
