The days following destruction of the Red Room passed quickly with everybody being busy in one way or three other.
Since none of them could continue putting it off, Steve, Tony and Sam went to rescue Bucky and finally shut down the Winter Soldier project for good after getting the location from Vision.
With Vision assuring them that he could unwind Bucky's brainwashing, Steve no longer had any reasons holding him back from saving his long-lost friend.
In the same vein as the first trio, Natasha and Yelena finally had their long needed talk which Natasha had been putting off because she knew what exactly it was going to be about… and she was right.
No one knew anything about the extent of their talk or the decision they made but at the end, Yelena decided to go look for their 'parents' and air out the demons in her closet.
Natasha also took some time off, whether it was to follow her sister or clear her head no one knows.
Sarah and Banner were fully engrossed in unraveling the mysteries of the X-gene and an input from Vision was what gave them the direction they were currently going at.
Vision's thought had been whether the effects of the suppressant could be replicated but with light and frequency instead. For some reason he was confident that it could work and coupled with the rather extensive study he's done on frequencies, the two lumber head scientists readily dove headfirst into it besides other things.
As for Laura and Davis, they were by far the most free bundle of the group so they just laze around or mostly hung out with Vision, helping him out as he started building the translocation station.
When it came to the resident twin, Pietro, much to his irritation, became the official courier service of the group, running errands to different parts of the country. Wanda on the other hand besides spending time with Vision, was mostly off doing heroics which was something she's taken quite the shine to. She quickly became the bane of every criminal across the state, destroying multiple cartels and crime syndicates, including that of the Kingpin who was currently behind bars with a troubled psyche.
Atop the flying fortress, which was renamed as the Overwatch by a certain someone, said certain someone was rounding up the receiver panels that were fixed in different parts of the Overwatch to pick up quantum signals.
"Aaand that should be the final touch."
The refurbishing of the Overwatch was coming along slowly since no one had the time as of recently and it was simply impossible for only a handful of people to do alone.

Notifications after notification rang out as soon as he turned the device on. He felt the fleeting satisfaction of accomplishment before a call cut short his immersion.
"Sir, Dr. Banner is asking if they can turn on the quantum tunnel from the ground base." Oksana, a retired Black Widow, asked.
"Yes, tell him we'll be coming through it."

"Give me a third party review on the completed project, Oksana."
"It's simply revolutionary." She started after skimming through what she knew about what was just accomplished. "I guess it'll help a lot in reaching areas in distress around the world. But I guess the main question is whether this is going to be publicly released anytime soon."
This was a question Vision already had an answer to from the very beginning. "Definitely, but not anytime soon. Since we have the monopoly on it, it's only natural enjoy it's benefits to the fullest and by the time we distribute it to the world, we'd have made sure it's completely secure and no one else can take advantage of it."
The Overwatch had two travel stations, each with the capacity to carry ten people at once.
"Overwatch, set destination: Compound."

"I feel lightheaded." Oksana reported as soon as they found themselves in the Compounds quantum station.
"It's a normal reaction given that it's your first time experiencing something like this. Trust me, compared to the other possible experiences, this isn't even worth mentioning."
"…And might I ask what those could have been?" She asked with a bit of hesitation and Vision's answer proved her right.
"One is experiencing every tiny bit as your body gets folded to subatomic size and forced through a neutral space. That, or feeling your body being dismembered to every individual atom, forced through a quantum space, and reliving it again as each dismembered atom gets joined back upon successful travel."
Silence reigned between them as they stepped out of the station to meet Banner who was simply awestruck at something this revolutionary while Sarah took the medical scans of Oksana from Vision. This will help them understand more the effects of quantum traveling on humans.
"Hey there, Laura." The girl nodded and followed behind Vision as he went ahead to make breakfast for her since he had been working all through the night of the previous day.
During the breakfast, something on the news caught not only his attention, but also that of everyone else who had been listening in.
[Due to the recent spontaneous events, most of which have been severely hazardous, a summit of world leaders in the coming months and a list of countries have accepted to attend. The most surprising of all is the news of the Ruler of Latveria, Dr. Victor Von Doom, expressing his interest in the upcoming summit…]
"And then there's that." Vision said as the newscaster went on to list out some more countries that will be in attendance, a list which also contained Wakanda. 'And with that, whatever remained of canon is finally thrown out the Window.'

Vision's brunch was cut short when the news suddenly changed to a video of a rhinoceros version of Iron Man wantonly shouting profanities as he destroyed all the police cars that tried stopping him, not that they were having any kind of success at it.
"And there goes my morning." He could have just left it to Spider-Man but based on what he was seeing and given the fact that he was currently in school, it'd take him at least five minutes before he could swing over after using the bathroom excuse. Five minutes where the current death toll would have doubled.
"This should take a minute." He stepped inside the quantum tunnel and beamed himself to Rhino's location and walked out of the portal that formed a few meters from the man.
"Who za fuc-!"
Before he could finish his third word, his prided armor exploded into bits and he found himself restrained in metallic bonds.
In his confused state, he looked back in the direction of the man but the newcomer was already gone while he found all his limbs in 4-inch iron cuffs.
"Za hell?!"
Vision walked out from the station having already given up on his food and went back to cracking Kang's armor, well opening up since he'd already cracked it. Upgrades over food.
"Would you look at that, only seven seconds."

With Magneto seemingly gone with no news of his whereabouts as the news had no idea of who caught him or even if he was caught, the Brotherhood after not hearing from their leader for a few days slowly devolved into chaos as each of his closest followers tried to force the other members into following them, but they forgot one thing…
They were not Magneto.
They had neither the charisma, determination or power that Magneto commanded with his sheer presence alone, causing the once closely knit Brotherhood to break down into smaller groups as each followed a leader of their own.
"This is not going to work out well for us, you guys know that right?" One of them complained to his group after they narrowly escaped the rest of the Brotherhood after they made their decision to defect known.
Not one of their wisest moments that's for sure.
"You think none of us know that!" Another one shouted in frustration, causing the others to hold them down.
"Guys, calm down. I think I might have found a good solution to this." They all turned to look at the one who was talking. "Someone reached out to me, a dude named Essex and he said we could work for him. He also promised to help us increase our powers."
"I don't know, but that sounds too shady." The first guy said, followed by nods from the rest.
"Come on, guys. It's not as if we have anything more to lose, besides we're mutants. We can escape if things become rough."
Under his reasoning, the others gave in and agreed to follow him, promising themselves to bolt if things turned sketchy.
