It was bright, the sun shined without even a single wisp of cloud obstructing its view. Yet the light wasn't blinding. Instead, it set the grass glimmering with its soft glow, the droplets of dew shining like tiny crystals over the sea of green.

MingYu found himself walking up a hill. The light wind from the sea that brushed by him was gentle, fluttering the hems of his robes, like a soft caress of spring, a promise of summer to come.

He had fallen asleep on his bed and woken up to find himself here, in a peaceful paradise. On top of the hill stood a tall figure, clad in deep blue robes, the colour of the night sky.

Even though he could only see the man's outlines against the bright blue sky and the soft glow of the sun, he would never mistake the broad shoulders, the dark robes that were edged into his memory and heart.
