Chapter 57: Chapter - 57 [ Saving The Father - Daughter Duo! ]
Adam and Jace were floating in the air. As she waited, Adam spared no place to search for Lucia. He stopped and inwardly thought, 'She isn't in any of the buildings...?'
He then remembered the path he came from. 'Even if the current king is unaware of such a place, there is a possibility of someone else leading them there. So, let's check underground as well.'
Saying he aimed at the ground. He smiled when he saw not one, but two similar presences. He now understood everything. He turned towards Jace and said,
"I've found her. But there's another surprise."
"What is it..?" She was happy knowing he found her sister. But she raised her brows when he said there was a surprise. Without making her in suspense he said smiling,
"It seems your father, the king of vampires is actually alive..."
This stopped her heart for a second. She couldn't breathe. Tears flowed like a spring from her eyes. She could have suspected him lying to her. But with the immense trust in him, she knew he wasn't lying, but was being honest.
"How..?" She trusted him. However she wanted to know how that is possible. She witnessed the fight and her father's death with her own eyes.
"The reason I told you, that it's your father is because, the one I found was a male, with the same blood and presence, but has some different features. He has black and red eyes as well. But there is a part of his hair marked with red. His eyes are red but it is like a red gem. It's pure red, with no other colors,unlike yours or Lucia's. There is a red droplet-like object on his chest, just like with Lucia's... "
He didn't have to finish as Jace said sobbing,
"Father..."
He stopped for some moments before saying, "If you want to we can go now and rescue him. He was actually sealed underground, but he isn't awake. He is alive, but unconscious. It's like he's in a deep slumber. If you ask me, I would say we wait. First we need to see Lucia. After that let's go and try to save your father as well."
She nodded. He opened a portal to the underground as after seeing through the place, it was like, he is the engineer of the whole city. He knows every corner and secret places of this city. Seeing the dark cave-like structure, both of them passed through the portal.

Passing through the portal, they both saw a large room designed in a circle shape, there was a large magic circle drawn using blood on the floor. In the middle, there was a pedestal, which looked like it was used for sacrifice. On the pedestal, there was a figure lying without any movement.
Seeing this Jace ran towards the figure, her sister Lucia. As he already made sure that there weren't any traps, Adam allowed her to get near the centre. As he reached the crying Jace, Adam pointed his finger on her forehead before flicking it without any strength.
Then as if everything was an illusion, the sound of glass breaking was heard. She was confused as to why she heard such a sound, but quickly forgot it, as Lucia flinched slightly before opening her eyes slowly....
Her long eyelashes flickered slightly, she saw her sobbing sister. Turning her eyes towards him, her eyes widened visibly a large margin before she jumped up and sat steadily. Jace was expecting this while Adam was surprised by her energetic behavior, even though she was asleep a few moments ago. Then making Adam open his mouth in stupidity and making Jace giggle Lucia asked in a serious tone,
"Hey handsome.I can sense my sister's scent on you. So you must be my brother in law. If so why don't you marry me too....?"

After the awkward moment of her proposal the trio was walking towards where the king was kept. During the walk Lucia asked, "So what's your answer..?"
Adam sighed and thought about what Jace said about her sister. He can only smile wryly as they both were kind of similar. However as this wasn't the time for something like this, he quickly answered,
"Now's not the time Ms.Lucia. After rescuing you, the traitor must have sensed his spell being destroyed. So he will most likely reach us within some time. As for your feelings, let's see if you still feel the same after everything is over."
Hearing his words Lucia pouted. She told him to call her just Lucia. He would actually, but only when it was just he and Jace. As he has yet to decide the relationship between them, he won't act like they are close.
Then supporting his words, Jace said, "For now forget about it Lucia. Our father is alive and he needs us now."
"I heard when you were saving me. I don't believe my sister. We both saw how he fought and died. How was it possible for a father to be safe..?"
Jace smiled as she said, "You will see. Actually I saw you dying when you suddenly used the forbidden technique and exploded. However , here you are alive and even energetic enough to say stupid things."
Lucia paused a second before thinking. She actually used the forbidden technique. But she was stopped by the traitor. She doesn't remember anything after that. So she was now wondering who exploded in her stead.
As they walked, they neared a place with similar designs of the room that was used to seal Lucia. However unlike her's, there wasn't a pedestal. There was a man with a long beard being tied by chains made of a black material.
Seeing the man, the girls both wanted to run and save him, however, was stopped by Adam. He said,
"You can't touch him now. This chain isn't ordinary. It seems to be like a double edged sword. It actually seals someone, but also protects them. If you stay close enough, you will most likely die. So let me untie him first. Then we can leave this place."
The girls nodded. Lucia was now very happy as she never trusted Adam first. Now however she feels very interested in getting to know him.
Adam walked closer to the chain and activated a barrier around the man using the space element, before using one of the hottest types of flame, the blue flame to burn the chain easily. As the man was safe within the space, he wasn't affected by the protection system of the chains nor the flames.
Seeing their father falling down, the girls both reached out held him closer and cried. Seeing this scene, Adam smiled. However as he knows they have to go, he levitated them using telekinesis and fled using the gate. Although they were surprised, they still didn't deny his decision.

In a dark room, a man could be seen bathing in blood, bodies of so many women scattered around lifelessly. As he was busy in relieving his desires, a voice was heard inside him.
"Hmm..? How's this possible..?"
With respect in his eyes, the man asked the voice, "What happened..?" The voice responded with a laugh, "It seems like the two of your prisoners escaped..."
The voice was calm, but the man exclaimed in shock as he asked in disbelief, "What..!? How is that possible..?! Wasn't it your technique...?"
The voice hummed yes and said, "Yes. And they are now free probably. If so, then that means there is someone who knows about me or it may be a genius who understood the secrets of my technique. Let's go. I want to see who this person is. Don't worry. Even if he's rescued, no one can save him from his dream...."
The man was shocked. There shouldn't be anyone that is capable among the vampires. Unless it is an outsider. But that was not possible since, vampires don't like other races very much. For now he only nodded. He wanted the two of them, his prisoners for, to carry out his big ambitious plans. But he never knew he was nothing but a pawn to someone else.

Expecting the enemy to charge at them anytime, Adam didn't wait anymore as he went to Glare's place. Opening the door, Adam followed Jace. Suddenly Glare appeared and tried to attack. But seeing who it was, she hurriedly made a subservient posture. However her eyes widened marginally when she saw the man floating in the air in front of her.
"H-his majesty..!?"
As he already knew she would be shocked, he activated a barrier just before her shouting. Waving towards her Adam said, "Shhh... No one knows about this. For now, act like you didn't see anything. Also can you show us to a room..?"
She had a lot of questions, but nodded obediently before pointing towards the room. After letting the king rest on the bed, Adam activated his Omniscient eyes to see if there was a problem. He couldn't see anything out of the ordinary physically. However he could sense his mind wasn't here. It was like, he's in a dream. Then remembering his doubts, Adam touched his forehead before using a small wave of electric signal to his brain.
It was a very dangerous and delicate process as a little difference in the amount of energy could have destroyed or fried his brain. But fortunately with his eyes, he could see black needle-like things on different parts of this person's brain.
He saw something interesting. The black thing actually looked like a dark element. But it wasn't the dark element, but something else. But not wanting to risk the King's life anymore, he pulled the needle-like dark thing slowly with the help of the electrical signal. He had to do it one by one.
After some time later, Adam sensed no other problems. So he quickly pressed the King's heart gently but roughly used telekinesis. After pressuring his heart for some time, everyone gasped when they heard a loud sound of deep inhaling.
Seeing their father breathing again, Glare and Lucia began crying while still hugging his hands. Then as everyone was staring at this scene, the king slowly opened his eyes and smiled when he saw his daughters crying..
"Jace...Lucia..."
Then the scene turned very warm. After making sure that he's fine, Adam explained what happened, to Glare and the king. Although he didn't say anything about saving them, the king still understood Adam was the one who saved them. Then he thanked him over and over again.
After explaining and rejecting his pleas to serve him, Adam said, "For now, I will hide your existence from others. If I am right, he must be on his way now. If we want to capture him and the one helping him from the dark, we have to make sure he doesn't suspect us or find you. I already created a clone and placed it where Ms.Lucia was kept. I also transformed it into her image. So he will use the clone to hurry his plans. During that night of ceremony, we will act like this..."
He explained his plans for the Twin Moon Sacred Night.
