Chapter 59: Chapter - 59 [ Ending The Devil!]
Just as the old man left after placing Lucia's body in the middle of the magic circle, Adam and the trio of vampires were hiding behind an illusion he built before everyone else was kicked out. Seeing a body similar to her own from another perspective, Lucia whispered in an excited tone, "Oh..! How did you know my sizes..? It's perfect even from a distance!"
Jace also nodded while Damon shook his head at his daughter's behavior. Adam was about to reply when all of their eyes were attracted by the presence of another person behind Vesta. They know this was the person who appeared after the old man went to bring Lucia's fake body.
A figure covered by darkness. Red pointy eyes. There was a hood covering their face, but everyone could see two protrusions above his head.
As they were watching, Adam suddenly heard something. It was about souls! As expected, he never heard anyone talk about anything about souls in this world.
'He isn't from this world as expected..? And he knows about souls! I haven't seen anyone who understood what a soul is! Maybe this is more dangerous than i thought.' As he was thinking about this, the shadow created another magic circle above the red magic circle left behind by the ancestor of the vampire race. After analysing the magic circle, he checked the status of the shadow.

He was actually surprised. And this interface itself was different from the normal ones. He knows about demons. But were devils different from the kinds of Demons...? This was answered by Maya,
« Unlike the demons in this world, the devils although are of the same kind, are stronger and have the purest bloodline. They are the children of a special individual or their planet. In other words, they are most likely the only race in their own world. So all of the benefits are acquired by them on birth »
'So other worlds with life exist near us..?'
« Yes. But not near us. It's at least a tens of thousands of lightyears away »
He nodded. He was calm, as despite the devil being strong, he was stronger than the devil.
As they waited, they saw the shadow activating the magic circle which began pouring a black substance. The black substance covered Lucia's fake body and tightened it. After the black mist was gone, what remained was a corpse just like a mummy from his previous world.
Seeing this Damon's face changed to that of a wrath as he said, "That bastard! He was planning to do something like that to my daughter..?" Jace and Lucia who saw this, trembled slightly.
Although he felt guilty because this was his illusion as the process of soul absorption from the devil's world was probably different, he could only make an example out of his knowledge.
But before they could complain, there was a loud explosion. If Adam didn't put a barrier around the hall, others waiting outside would have arrived hearing the commotion.
Adam saw the devil's aura changing as he was now feeling panicked. Then, as to not let him escape, Adam erected a barrier using the space element.
Then he heard the devil saying calmly,
"Come out. I know you are here."
Adam already expected this as the moment his enemy notices the barrier, it is already a sign. So without waiting for another second, he transformed into a character from an anime which surprised the trio of vampires as they haven't seen a creature of his image. Then after telling them to wait here until he signals, he says the same words said by the character,
"Alright... It's time to clean up some extraterrestrial trash."

Hearing the arrogant yet funny words coming from the person in front of them, both the shadow and Vesta showed a face of stupidity as the shadow asked Vesta,
"What kind of race is that..?"
Not knowing the answer himself, Vesta who was still affected by the explosion shrugged his shoulder, and said, "Maybe an overgrown Goblin....?"
Laughing inside his mind, Adam was forcing himself to calm down as he never expected the enemies to become shocked by his disguise.
Adam was currently transformed into a character known as Piccolo from Dragon Balls. He was very tall and muscular but a little thinner. He also has a more solid facial structure with less pronounced cheekbones, a rounder chin, and a straight nose. He also had pointed ears and green color which made Vesta and the devil to think he is indeed an overgrown goblin.
Adam didn't say anything else as he was waiting for them to say something. He was asked by the devil,
"I don't know who you are, but i guess it was you who made these illusions..?"
Adam nodded. This made the devil flinch a little as he wished Adam never agreed. Seeing his enemy was not denying the truth, the devil vanished from the sight as he appeared behind Adam. But before he could even process anything, he felt a numbing pain from his left hand.
Looking at his shoulder, he saw that his left hand wasn't there. But without saying or screaming anything, he jumped back. As the battle had already begun, the devil threw dark black chains against Adam. But wanting to prove his choice wasn't for naught, Adam made a posture of his two hands placed together and pointed towards the devil. Then like a cannon, an energy beam passed through the place where the devil was , destroying the chains in the process.
However the devil stopped a moment before thinking and said with anger in his words.
"You are fooling me.... That is not your true form... Someone with an ability to overrule my authority as an illusion master..?"
Smiling but transforming back to his own form but hiding his face only with little censoring, Adam said, "Correct~! I was going to continue it, you know..? Since you already found out, there is no use in hiding anymore. But i am not going to show my face to you devils~~"
Feeling as if thousands of insects crawling through his body inside and outside, the devil trembled slightly as he asked, "Who are you..!? How do you know about me..? No! How do you know about Devils..?!"
Although the devil was saying this, he was thinking of something else in his mind,
'I should notify them. He is dangerous! I never felt such a feeling before. But i can't leave. Without leaving, it's impossible to notify them. If I forcefully cut off the connection, I will be hurt too much and even my strength will be reduced so much! No! I should prioritize our plans first.'
As he was about to forcefully destroy his connection, he saw a hand denying his vision. It gripped him like a vise as he felt fear for the first time. He tried to forcefully open the hand that was tightening around his face, but feeling powerless, he decided to attack his enemy's mind.
So he tried to enter Adam's consciousness. But he who saw something, opened his eyes in terror as he screamed,
"Wh-what are you..!? You are not a vampire..! No...you are not even a living being! You are not supposed to exist..?! I have to go back...!"
He tried his best. But his heart thumped when he heard Adam say, "Hmm...After saying rude things, you are trying to flee? Are you thinking, if you escape or die here, you can still be saved..? Oh..! You didn't know that I know about your soul fragment huh.."
"Wha..! Impossible!" That is all he could say. Adam continued, "It's impossible for others. But let's see. If I attack and destroy your soul fragment here, you probably will be awakened back in your home world. So how about this..? I am going to destroy your whole soul from here."
This sentence made the devil feel like Adam was the true devil. He wanted to say that it was impossible. But he felt his heart tightening, as chains of pale violet and a mix of blue appeared around it. Then making him feel pain, even though it was only a puppet, Adam uttered two names.
"Linked Grasp" and "Space Devouring"
Then making his puppet squirm and compress itself, the body ceases to exist.
Watching everything that's happening out, Vesta felt an overwhelming fear. He suddenly tried to run, but was stopped by the appearance of Damon and the others. Knowing his end is near if he didn't escape, Vesta was trying his best to survive.

Inside the room of high ranking devils, they were all having a meeting. Then they all saw that one of the devils in that room was sleeping. In fact he was doing something else. But shocking everyone, he placed his hand on his heart as he said,
"Save...me..." Before anyone could understand what happened, the whole body of that devil was burned by a flame with the color of a mix of purple and blue.
Seeing this, the atmosphere of the room changed.
"What happened..? Why did he suddenly die..?"
"We don't know. What I am worried about is, how come he died, when he was still together with us."
"It must be an enemy from that world...! To be capable of killing one of us remotely is a fearsome ability!"
They all began talking among themselves. Stopping their discussion, a male voice rang out as he said,
"Our Lord will awaken within a little more time. We just have to wait. Even if they are strong enough to defeat us, no one can defeat our Lord..!"
This made the others smile and nod. Then they began to think of changing their future plans until their Lord arrived.

As Vesta was only a Master Rank, Damon didn't even have to lift his fingers. After asking a few questions, he let his daughters deal with him. He then walked towards Adam and said,
"Although we have solved them all, we still have to solve the problem of royal succession. As we have already requested, we would like to give this chance to another family. But we don't know how to do this. As Jace and Lucia are still alive, it is impossible for others to be royals. So I need another plan."
This time Adam also planned ahead as he already heard from Jace and Lucia that they are not interested in ruling. So he asked Damon,
"Let me ask you, have you, or anyone alive, heard the voice of your ancestor..?"
Damon shook his head and said, "Ancestor, although we call him that, we've never seen him. He left after leaving the position to his son. After that, no one saw him. Also anyone who has ever seen him doesn't live anymore. It was actually years ago after all."
Adam nodded before he explained his plans. Damon who heard this was happy as he accepted it without any thoughts. After a while, he explained this to the girls who were waiting after killing Vesta without mercy. They too accepted this plan.
