Chapter 2: Tazanna
"Sweetie, why are you like this today?" his tone was curious but he does not dislike it. I've been all clingy and touchy today. I give him surprise hugs and kisses. This dream has been too long considering it is almost 12 PM, half a day and my Felix is still here with me.
"I want to be with you more longer.. who knows when this dream will end?" Felix giggles as he turns around and grabs my face. He kisses my nose.
"What dream are you talking about? You are not dreaming, Taz. I'm really here."
What.....? I pull my arms back and looked at him from head to toe. Spinning around, I check myself in the mirror. I pull on my hair, pinched my cheek and stepped on my foot... it hurt. Felix is still in front of me.
"Can you excuse me for a sec?" He nods and my palm smacked his face. "I'm so sorry, my love.. but I needed to confirm this isn't a dream! Di-did it hurt?"
"I thought my jaw was gonna come off... damn girl, are you mad at me or something?"
That's what my Felix would say. Is this really happening? Is there no mistake? Did the hands of the clock turn back to the time where he was still alive? How is this possible...
"You're wearing the ring.." he whispers. I put it on my finger last night and must have forgotten to take it off. I decided not to wear it after he died, seeing this ring on my finger would only make me remember everything. Felix held my left hand and brushed his thumb softly against the ring. "I love you, Tazanna."
My tears just keep on running, it is never ending. "I love you way more, Felix.."

"Brietta, have you finished the revision of your proposal?"
"Yes, ma'am. I will deliver it to your office by lunch time."
"What about the Retail Team? Any updates?"
"The team is working well, and we're setting a good date to launch the product. Should there be any changes, I will let you know immediately."
"Production Team?"
"We have bought new fabrics and have thought of a new design, this I will deliver to your office and wait for your approval. We currently have 10,489 in stock. It seems "Juana" is the best seller at the moment."
"Very well, excellent job, everyone. You may get back to your stations, I appreciate all the things you've done today. Hopefully, tomorrow will be another good day for all of us, no?"
The general meeting has ended and I checked on my phone, Felix has sent me a message. It brought a smile on my face as I reply. It feels so unreal yet I've never been this happy for years..
"Something good happened?"
"Felix is b— Piper?"
"My brother is what?" I threw my phone back into my bag. Do they know? Should I tell her? I believe it is not my place to tell his family that he's come back to this world.. I should just wait for him to visit and surprise them like he did to me. "Come on sis, I don't wanna hear how much you love him, okay? I came here to deliver this food, mother sure loves you more than me."
I laugh. "Come on, you know that's not true. Thank you for bringing it all the way here, it must have been a long ride for you."
"You bet, but I'm afraid I need to leave now. That CEO sure is very demanding..."
I opened the box and almost drooled. "Well, the CEO is here with me right now. Boy am I lucky to have her deliver me my lunch for today..."
"What are you saying, Taz? My brother is the CEO, I am the COO!"

"Felix.....?"
"Did you forget?" she laughs. "Father has appointed him as the CEO four months ago, right? Girl, you were there!"
"I... I was?"
Piper shakes her head. "You must have drank a lot last night. I know, my brother called me up at 4 AM to ask how to make a hangover soup. Is work stressing you out these days?"

"Hello, beautiful!" Felix greeted me with a warm smile, leaning against his car as he snatches away my purse. While I am still puzzled, he seems so relaxed as if nothing had ever happened. What is really going on? Did I go back in time? Or is it making fun of me? "You okay, honey? You seem distracted the whole ride home. Is everything okay at work? Anybody bothering you? Don't tell me.. Vic's still making a move on you?"
"Vic?"
"Yeah, that Vic. The one that's been asking you out since September. That Vic." His eyebrows creased. "Even though he knows you're engaged.. how dare he." This should be making me smile but, my fiancé is jealous over a person whom I don't even know or recognize. The name sounds so unfamiliar. When did this all happen? Also the promotion he got from his father.. I don't remember a single detail about that day.
"Felix."
"Yes?"
"Can I ask you a question?"
He sits down on the couch, tapping the spot beside him but I ignored his gesture. "Do you remember what happened on January 3rd 2034?"
"Babe, what kind of question is that?"
"Just answer me, alright? I am really confused here!" My fingers comb through my hair and a sigh of defeat escaped my lips. "You-you're dead, Felix! For four years! Now you're in front of me...? How is that even possible? I don't understand.. and you're telling me things that I don't know about. Who is Vic? When did you become the company's CEO? Felix! Please.. tell me what is going on."
"Didn't you wanna know how I died?"
"Huh?"
"I hear your prayers.. every single day, you wish to know how I left this world."
"You're speaking nonsense.. there is no way the dead could come back to life!"
"You are happy about it, aren't you?" I was silenced. Why is he talking like this? As if he is not the Felix I know. "I came back to the land of the living to show you.. to help you find out more about my death. Who was the reason and what caused it.."
"Who are you?"
"I'm still the Felix you know and love, Taz." he answers, sitting back down on the couch and rested his arms on top of his knees. "It's just that... when I came back, the past has changed too. I assume this is their doing.."
"'Their'?"
"The ones that sent me back down." Felix looks into my eyes. "Tazanna, is finding out the reason for my death that really important to you?"
"Of course it is! We never got to know who the culprit was and how you were killed! We feel so wronged, Felix.. every one of us."
"January 3rd 2034, was the day that I left for a five-day business trip. But Tazanna, it was not related to that at all."
"What are you talking about?"
"Your family was the one who asked me to go to France."
What?
"They told me it was some sort of tradition in your family circle — to go on a vacation without the biological member. I was happy about it, excited even! But it was the biggest mistake I ever made.."
"Did they.. my family... Did they kill you?"
