"Sir, we finish collecting all the pirates in the wreckage", Commodore Oki said.
"Is Black Hart secured? I don't want any mistakes when I'm about to retire", Stoner replied.
"Yes sir. He is being shackled with sea stone handcuffs", Commodore Oki responded.
"Alright, set course to Marineford already", I commanded.
"Before that, sir, this manual was found in Black Hart's pocket", Commodore Oki said as he showed a book that had a couple of pages.
Stoner took the manual from him, and read the title of the book; 'Basic's of the Hassohoken Style: Happo Navy'.
"No wonder he could use Hassohoken style, he learned it from this manual. He must have stolen this from a member of the Chinjao family since they are the only group of people who are seen practicing this technique", Stoner stated.
"Since you were the one to defeat him, I believe this manual belongs to you sir", Commodore Oki said.
"Make 2 copies of the manual. Give the original to me, one of the copy will be yours, while the last copy will be given to the marines. Even if you a swordsman this manual is still valuable to you", Stoner said to him plainly.
"Okay, sir", Commodore Oki said as he saluted Stoner and went to command the soldiers to set course to Marineford.
Stoner went to the deck of the ship and just felt the sea air hit his face.
MARINEFORD
FLEET ADMIRAL SENGOKU'S OFFICE
"Vice Admiral Stoner, I'm going to ask you one last time, are you sure about retiring? You can still become an instructor for future marines. We need all the help we can get", Sengoku said.
"I'm sure Sengoku, my time as a marine is over. I can already feel it, my sickness is getting worse, I only have a few years left, perhaps more if I'm l really lucky. I want to spend it in peace, but who knows maybe someone will get my interest, and just maybe I'll train them, just maybe", Stoner said to his superior.
For a while Senguko was silent and then he sighed, he took out a piece of paper and place his stamp on it.
"It was nice working with you Stoner", Sengoku said.
"Likewise, Senguko", Stoner responded.
"Where are you going now that you're a civilian?", Sengoku asked.
"I want to return home, to the Kingdom of Tolfa", Stoner replied, if look closely you could see a longing desire in his eyes.
"Alright, I'll have a Captain take you there tomorrow", Sengoku said.
Stoner thanked Senguko and left his office. Outside of the marine office, you could see multiple recruits doing their drills.
'Time flies so fast huh. It feels just like it was yesterday, I was just a recruit training to be something in the Marines', Stoner thought.
Suddenly someone bumped into him causing him to be removed from his nostalgia.
"Ouch, that hurt", a male recruit said.
"I'M SORRY SIR!", said a female recruit that was with the male recruit.
"What are yo---",
"Where both sorry sir. We didn't watch where we're going", the female recruit said as she forces the head of his male friend to bow towards me. The female recruit was scared due to Stoner still wearing his Vice Admiral Uniform.
"It's fine, how long had you been in the base?", I asked them.
"The two of us had been in the marine base for 1 month now sir", the female recruit responded.
"hmm...Keep working, the fate of the Marines is in your hands now", Stoner said to them as he walks out of the training field.

MAIN CHARACTER'S POV:
It has been 7 years since I had been reborn in this world. For the first 6 months, I taught I was tripping, I genuinely believe that I somehow survived the impossible scenario I was in. One moment I was holding my gun and firing it at hostiles, then darkness, then I was reborn. You can't blame me for thinking that I was high on drugs.
Anyway, after fully accepting the predicament I was in, I decided to just enjoy my new lease in life. I grew up in a town belonging to the Kingdom of Tolfa. When I heard this I was confused, I had no knowledge of a kingdom named 'Tolfa'. I tried asking my parents when I was older if they knew of places called 'The United States, England, and France, stuff like that', to say that my parents were bewildered was an understatement. My parents were confused about how I came up with those words, while I was confused about why they didn't know what these places where.
I asked more questions and I learned what my birthday was, I was born on September 2, 1495. At first, I taught that I was reborn in the past, upon more questioning I learned that the Kingdom of Tolfa is a kingdom that was placed in the Grandline. Upon hearing the word 'Grandline', I remembered one of my military friends who was talking about his favorite anime that recently ended. He was one of my closes friends so I listened when he talked about his interest, we'll I listened most of the time.
He talked about the anime One Piece, a world that was mostly composed of sea, and about the main character who I could not remember. All I could remember about One Piece is that it is a story about a guy who was a pirate. I tried remembering more but honestly, I wasn't a fan of anime in my old life, so most of the things he said were easily forgettable.
All in all, I learned that I was reborn not on earth, but in a place that was part of an anime. At first, I was shocked but soon accepted this fact, I had a new life, a life with a happy family. One thing that was funny to me was that I was renamed the same name I had in the past, Enzo, Enzo Lockhart.
I woke up upon the smell of my mom's cooking, "PANCAKES!", I shouted. I immediately went to the kitchen and seated myself.
"Looks like someone is hungry", my dad said while putting his newspaper down on the table.
"Wait a minute sweety, I'm nearly down", my mother said as she continued cooking.
Both my parents worked in the town we live in, my mom is a school teacher while my dad is one of the few doctors working in the hospital. The town we live in is a port town. In the past this town was a place full of pirates, but since the marines build one of their branches near the town the pirate influence drop significantly.
Looking at my dad you could tell that he looks normal, like an average Joe, but when you look at my mom, then you will be shocked, my mom was clearly way, and I mean waaaayyyyy out of my father's league. I always joke around telling my father that the only reason I look handsome was because of my mom. My mom would always smile when I say that joke, while my dad would always counter by saying that he gave me the smart gene. They were good parents, far better than the one I had in the past, which was none.
"What's on the news dad?" I ask my father while waiting for my mother to finish cooking.
"More trouble in the world son", my father said plainly.
"It's Saturday today, can I go out and go to the town library?", I asked my parents. In a world where there is no internet, Saturday was boring spending at home. My parents always urge me to play with my friends but can you blame me if I don't like it? Seriously combine with my previous life I am 45 years old. Playing with kids is just weird for me. I am willing to act like a child for my parent's sake, but I find it too much if I act like a kid among other kids. That is too annoying to bear.
"hmmm... If you make sure you'll be back home before its night out. I'm fine with it", my father said as he looks at my mother for a second approval.
My mother placed the pancakes on the table and said, "I'm fine with it as well, but you really should spend time with your friend Enzo".
"I'm fine mom, my friends would rather spend time playing around, but I like reading in the town library more", I said to them. On some occasions I showed them that I am a smart kid, this allows me a moderate amount of freedom.
After the short conversation, we had our breakfast. I wanted to go straight to the town library but my mom wanted me to cook something for my lunch. After my pack lunch was cooked my dad accompanied me to town, he said that he was meeting a friend while my mom decided to remain at home to check on some of the homework of her students.
