POV Falina.
Walking back to the house are pride crushed with nowhere left to be found. We didn't talk much. Hell, we were both too embarrassed about being caught playing like pups and kits.
Sigh... I glanced at Damien I could hear the snickers of Jellad and Davy. While they were not sending them in my direction, I couldn't miss their thoughts even If we had no mind link with each other.
After we reached the house both were still snickering and laughing. Damien turned toward them raising one brow. "I won't live to see you stop laughing am I?"
Looking at them with a serious expression their face cracked again as they stepped inside the house for one more round of uncontrollable laughter.
Looking at Damien I say in a dishearted way as I felt all my dignity had long since been gone with no face remaining. "How about we grab a bit while they sober up?"
He nodded as we made our way to the small kitchen of the house. The packhouse had a large one for everyone but every house had a smaller one in them for their own private use.
I opened the fridge making myself at home I knew I wasn't going to go anywhere any time soon the Alpha had made it plenty clear. So why should I not treat myself like at home? Rampaging inside the fridge I took out several items.
I would make a light snack just enough for me and Damien, after all, yes I am a little petty about them laughing at us two so they could just make their own! Hmph!
Making two chicken sandwiches with lettuce and mayonnaise. I handed one to Damien as Davy entered the room seeing me put the rest back in the fridge.
Just as I turned around to pick my food and start munching on it, I saw it be kidnapped by a smirking wolf. Eyes went wide at the smirk Davy arbored. His triumphant expression of having stolen my homemade food as he tore the bread eating eagerly. Only Jellad seemed a little off, and my gaze met his puppy pleading eyes after all, both his companion had gotten lunch and he was left with nothing...
Rolling my eyes at him I turned back to the fridge and took out once more something to make a snack. Chicken pieces, lettuce, bread and mayo.
Turning to the island counter to make the food my gaze met theirs again I swear I could see standing up ears and wagging tails... My envy for facepalm was pretty high. These guys were the all-time feared most bloodthirsty wolves? I was starting to think that was all shenanigans, rumours shouldn't be trusted it was obviously the land of feed me pups!
After the small snack, we moved to the living room the boys popped a movie on. Some action comedy film with Jacky Chan as the main star.
This human is amazing, I love all the movies I had seen so far with him but this made my all-time high.
Soon I couldn't help but yawn at first it was light but as the evening set, I could not hold them back even my eyes teared a little from them as I kept yawning.

Davy P.O.V
Glancing at the sleepy little vixen I felt my lip curl up. While we all sat on the comforter coach feeling lazy, I received a mind link message.
"Alpha there is a rogue group that is trying to breach into our lands." One of my wolf enforcers said.
"Which direction?" My smile had now faded to nothing. Rogues are too dangerous, they belong to no pack and more than not they are criminals that had been banished from their own packs and territory, very rarely it would be a case of a wolf born outside of packs...
"On our way," I answered grimly.
My beta and gamma looked toward me they had heard the mind link.
"Well sorry missy, we have some pack business to take care of." I placed my palm atop her head as she gazed into my eyes, I swear her eyes must be made out of pure water. They looked slightly red-rimmed as she had kept yawning, sending tears up without falling. It made my heart clench.
"Jellad you stay here just in case." After all, the vixen was cute and all, but we still did not know her background. While none of us three believed she could be mal-intended. We just could not leave her alone. It also true for her own protection, some wolves might take pleasure in hunting a weaker-were.
It took some will power to tear away from those watery eyes.
"Alright."

The boys exited the house. Throwing their cloth off before launching off into the night. Howls of pain and dominance echoing the night.
Fallina had curled up on the couch and had fallen into a deep sleep as she hugged a cousin to her chest as her head rested on another.
Jellad walked toward the pantry retrieving a comforter blanket. Gently gliding it over her sleeping form he sighed.
Walking off to stand guard he muttered under his breath. "Please do not betray us." In his heart, he continued. I would not be able to stand you being tortured and killed.
He still wondered who would be able to? after all, they all were growing attached to the little one. If they had to, would they? Yes, they would. They had a pack counting on them. Sighing he could only hope she was genuine.
