Chapter 6: Old friends! pt2
Lila's POV
I wake up in a colorful rainbow room.
I see an I.V in my arm and no one around I sit up slowly, I guess I am in a hospital? All I hear is that hospitals are boring white rooms, but this is new! But also I have never actually been to a hospital so I guess I wouldn't know.
"I'm glad you're up." a mans voice said from the direction of the door I whip my head around to quickly and get a headache, I hold my head hoping my headache will go away soon. "Here!" The voice that I finally found out was Cole's voice. It's weird I thought the way he said 'Here' actually sounded like he cared that I was in pain.
He handed me some pills, I know what you are thinking 'don't take pills from strangers!' but what do I have to lose.
I took the pills in one gulp and laid back down, I felt a warm hand going through my hair I nuzzled into the warmness, I heard a chuckle from Cole, he comes and sits next to my laid back body.
"Can I um... hold you?" he said quietly. Hold me?! He wants to hold me why me?! I know he can get way more pretty girls than me.
"S-Sure?" I said more like a question.
"Sorry I didn't mean to push."
"No I don't mind."
"Really?!"
"Really." He picks me up slowly and puts me on his lap gently, he nuzzles into my neck and hugs me closely.
"I have been looking for you for years now." Cole says quietly.
"Really?" I say quietly.
"Of course you are my important person." I felt tear drops falling down my cheeks and onto Cole's shirt.
"Did I hurt you?!" He asked quickly.
"No it's just I never had someone that cared about me."
"How long were you abused?"
"10 years" He didn't say anything he just hugged me tighter.
"I'm sorry."
"Sorry?!"
"I couldn't be there there for you when you need me."
"You are here now and that is all that matters."
"So how old are you?"
"What day is it today?"
"XXXXXXX" (A/N: Didn't want to make a date!)
"I'm 18 today."
"Today?"
"It's my birthday." As soon as I finished as if on cue someone busted through the door.
"THEO?!"
