Chapter 8: Reunited!

Theo's POV
"Theo?!" Lila said in a surprised tone when I walked in hand in hand with Nick.
"Hi Lila." I said just above a whisper with tear falling down my face, what am I supposed to say to her? She probably thought I abandoned her.
"You left me." her voice cracked as tears flooded her eyes.
"I didn't abandon you." I said in the same low voice.
"Then were the hell were you for the past year?" Her voice strained as she spoke. Cole gave her a cup of water.
"They must have drugged you, Nick was on patrol one day with his group and found the Evanescent pack he found me, his mate, when he came back out of the house he found the rest of his group dead, he ran back here, he had to run 7 miles in human form because he was carrying me, by the time he was back the Evanescent pack was no where to be found they took you with them Lila."
"Theo was bleeding out when I found him he wasn't conscious at all if he was conscious I know he would have gone back to get you." Nick said.
"Yeah, they probably did drug me I wouldn't of noticed they don't let me out of the house anyways." She said with a tight smile.
"Lila it doesn't matter anymore now you can go outside anytime you want and now you have a personal guard and someone to love you." I said trying to lift her spirits.
"Yeah..." I already knew what she was thinking she didn't want someone to love her after all all of the people at the Evanescent always said they loved us the lies they told us.
"I imagine you guys were best friends?" Cols asked
"More like siblings." Lila said while looking down at her lap.
"I hope we still are" I whispered. Lila gave me a small smile that said 'We will always be' which i was very thankful for.
"I will come and visit again tomorrow is that okay?" I said taking grasp of nick hand again.
"Please do." She said with a smile I have missed. Nick and I left hand in hand and went back to our room and opened our door and plated face first onto the bed with a sigh. I feel a heavy weight fall onto my back the weight being Nick.
"You're heavy!" I whined.
"Are you calling me fat!" Nick responded in a fake hurt voice.
"Maybe I am." he got off of me and bundled into a ball on the floor.
"Baby don't cry!" I said realizing that he actually started crying on the floor! "I didn't mean to!" He started to laugh.
"I can't believe you fell for that, even though you did hurt my feelings" He pouted.
"Aw Baby come here." I hugged him and sat in his lap, he hugged my waist and nuzzled into my neck.
