Chapter 1: The Broken Promise
By a stony creek in an abandoned building laid a black-clad young man who was drenched in sweat.
Holding a dagger in his left hand, the young man swiftly got up and headed for the roof, looking up to the sky he felt relieved-knowing it might have been a dream.
Almost without hesitation, the young man made a small cut on his right palm. For the past five day he has been having nightmares. Strange ideas, knowledge and memories started to flood his brain.
For the past 2 years Ryu has been living in the in the this abandoned part of the town where monsters come and go. Living his life hiding and running was what ryu had been accustomed to.
Since Young Ruy had massive Trion Capacity, which made him target for these monsters. Ryu always hated his huge trion reserve because his parents were killed because of it. Even before his parents death his mother reminded him to not let people know about his Trion Capacity and not to blame himself for their death. they wanted him to live a safe and happy life. Even before there their death, They told him to not risk his life.
When he was 10 years old his parents Had told him "Ryu do u know what the saddest thing about betrayal is ? It never comes form your enemies. " Because Ryu had high trion Capacity he never tried to make friends.
Scared about being rejected form society he never wanted to make friends or get close to anybody, that was until today.
For past five day he had been having strange nightmare. Knowledge about strange things, secrets and unspeakable things flooded his brain.
Being a 13 years old Ryu had no idea what to make of the nightmare and and the information he had. although some of the information he found seems to be true he wasn't sure whether to believe it or not.
The only information he could validate was that monsters started invading this world few years ago. When that happened certain group of people came and said they were here to stop the monsters. They called them-self Border agents.
The pain of loosing people that are important, yet still having to live with regret about not being able to anything was something Ryu knew very well. For Ruy Feeling alone was not the Worst thing Because that was when the monsters in his head say's hello.
After tonight Ryu had decided he was done running. Although the life he was living wasn't good but now he had a change to turn things around. Start a new page, doing something he never thought doing.
"How can you Destroy a monster without becoming one?" This kept Resounding in Ruy's head, thus he decided to break the promise he made to his parents.
Putting Trust in his nightmares he decided he was going to be a monster. A person even monsters had to respect. He would stand on top of them all. Starting from the beginning the decided to get to the very top, where he decided and dictated everything.
As such Ryu lad back down in the roof going back to sleep, with knife in his left hand preparing for the better - the worst tomorrow.
