They didn't see anything.

I know that they were looking for something. They have magic, but they are not as prepared as I am. They are not as ready as I am and they don't want blood as much as I do. Lowell is strong, I can smell the power that he holds and it should intimidate me but it doesn't. I know what I am here for and I know I am going to get it.

Colin watches me as we walk out of the house, he is suspicious. They are all acting like they aren't but I know that they are.

"We will reconvene tomorrow,'' he directs at me.

I nod.

I should have a house here--or rather, Roman should. I can feel Roman's anger seeping through my soul but it is not something I care about.

"Where is your house?" My wolf asks him.

He remains quiet.

He is being stubborn.
