Chapter 52: Scattered
As Jack was being carried to a Hospital, similar instances were happening all over the world
Within the vast snowbanks of Atlas, another portal opened up, spitting out a small blonde youth into the wilderness below
"AHHHH!!!"
Unlike Jack, the youth was still awake and very much aware
He fell to the tall snow down below
"Oof!"
*Psh!*
The two feet of frozen water broke his fall and he was let off without many injuries
However, the outline he made was quite hilarious
It looked like a muderscene, but his face was rolled to the side which outlined his scream...
The blonde sat up straight and looked around
"Where the hell am I?"
The area around him was just flat snow sprinkled with a few hills and trees every now and then
*Vrmmmm*
From behind him, a mechanical noise drove up
The youth immediately went on guard and jumped back, getting in a combat stance
"Woah! Calm down kid, I don't want to hurt you!" A voice said from the mobile
Blondie didn't say anything, just narrowing his eyes
"...Ok, I guess you don't trust me, that's fine. Can you at least tell me your name?"
The youth didn't say anything for a moment, seemingly staying statue still for a moment before he relaxed slightly
"...Minato"
"Sorry? What was that?"
"Name is Minato Namikaze, You?" The now identified Minato introduced
The man on the mobile stepped off and took off the hood he had on, which revealed a head of Silver hair and a chiseled face with a silver moustache on his lip
"My name is Jacques. Jacques Schnee. It's nice to meet you Minato"
The young Namikaze just grunted. Just because the man seemed nice, doesn't mean he trusts them in the slightest
"You want a ride out of here? I can provide you with shelter..." Jaques offered
Minato was silent for a second before he nodded, jumping on the snow mobile
The Schnee took that as a yes, mounting the Mobile himself and driving off towards the north
"So, how did you get so far out here?" The man broke the silence between the two
"I was launched here from somewhere with three others, though I have no idea where they are now..."
Jaques nodded and the silence returned, both of them getting lost in their thoughts
'I lost the others in the portal.. I hope they didn't run into any trouble'
'That confirms that theory. It looks like those incidents on Menagerie, Vale, and Mantle are related to this kid...'
They continued to drive in silence as the snow passed them by
But as usual, all semi decent things have to come to an end
*SCREEEEE!!*
"Shit!" Jaques suddenly sped up the mobile
Minato looked behind them and his eyes widened fearfully
A giant black avian with bone like armor on its body was flying straight for them, talons brandished
*SCREEEEEE!*
"What the fuck is that thing?!?"
"Nevermore! No time to explain!"
The snow mobile sped up even more, and by now the trees and hills were flying past the duo
"AWOOOOO!"
In front of them, three black wolf like creatures suddenly hopped out from their flank
"Shit!" Jaques turned the vehicle sideways and stopped
"What the hell are you doing?!"
"Letting you survive! Go!"
Minato was dumbfounded. Not at how he is trying to sacrifice himself for him, but at how stupid this man is
'Are you a fucking moron?! Who dues for a person they just met?!'
Jaques lifted his coat and unsheathed his saber, getting into a stance
*GRRRRRR*
The Beowolf launched itself at the elder man, intent at ripping his head off
Jaques, however, had no intention of that happening
Below his feet, runes started to form at an alarming rate and he charged
For Minato, it looked as if he were dancing
His movements were perfectly in tuned with the rest of his body. No missing actions were had
He basically flew right over the Beowolf, already heading to the next one as the first fell to the ground, disintegrating into black particles
*SCREEEEE*
The Nevermore, thinking it was forgotten, circled in from the air and tried to swipe at Jaques
'No going to happen big guy...'
Suddenly, A kunai was launched at the avian, accompanied by a bright yellow flash
*SQUAAAA*
Minato flashed right on top of the birds head, a kunai already stabbed into its bone plate
"Fall already!!"
The bird proved to be quite durable as the kunai only cracked the plating it had on
"Fine..."
Minato got on his feet and attempted to use a few handseals
"Fire Release : Great Fireball Jutsu!" He called out and put his hands to his mouth
...Only nothing came out
"What?"
"Fire Release : Great Fireball Jutsu!"
Again, nothing appeared from his mouth
"What the hell is wrong with my chakra?!"
He could still use the tree climbing technique as well as the Hiraishin, but more chakra consuming Jutsu like Nature and Shape was completely out of the question
"Agh, Fine!" Minato resigned And pulled his Kunai back out, beginning to chip away at the bony surface
*SCRAAAA*
The bird finally had enough and began to gain height
"Oh no you fucking don't you big feather piece..." The blonde picked up his stabbing pace, the bone finally falling away in chunks
*SQUAAAAAA*
The Nevermore stopped at a height above the clouds and leveled out
"You better not.."
The bird looked back and Minato could've sword he saw a smirk on its face before it turned 90 Degrees downwards, heading right towards the ground below
"YOU'RE GOING TO DIE NOW BIRD!!"
Minato was never going to underestimate the tree climbing exercise ever again...
*SQUAAAA*
*FWOOSH*
The Nevermore apparently got scared and turned up at the last moment
It, however, wasn't going to stay that way for long as it sensed an immense killing intent from behind it
"Please never fly again..."
*BOOM*
The birds head was blown clean off, and Minato flipped his way off the collapsing body of his ride right into the snow
*Vrummm*
Jaques pulled up right behind him in the mobile
"Nice one kid, I never thought someone as young as you could pull off something like that"
Minato rose an eyebrow, clipping his explosive tag pouch shut "What do you mean? I'm 17?"
Jaques snorted "Sorry if I don't believe you kid. You look like you're 5"
Minato's eyes widened as he looked down at his body
"WHAT?!"

I actually don't know how Jacques really acts, but if he doesn't act like this then consider him an OOC
