Chapter 33: The First
We got to the hotel that night with a pile bags, and my wallet empty
"What happened to you?" Minato questioned with a raised eyebrow
I just groaned and fell face first into the bed
"That's the result after a woman takes a man out shopping" Tobirama explained, shaking his head "It never turns out well. Listen to me Minato, if you ever get asked out to go shopping, say no, or you will wish you did" he continued with an ominous aura
Minato shivered at that and nodded, sweat dripping down his back, imagining what could happen to him
'System, show me my status' I thought weakly

I sighed and fell into blissful unconsciousness

The night fell fairly quickly, and I was up at sunrise the next morning
Tobirama was also awake, making a bit of breakfast - Eggs and Rice - for the group
"Ah, Good Morning" He said to me in his apron. It was quite weird seeing him outside of his combat armor
"Good morning" I greeted back, yawning from the previous days shopping *cough* torture *cough* trip
"She made you that exhausted? I don't think I've ever seen you this tired at this time before" He was confused
I just groaned "Damn right she did! I mean, who the hell needs paint on a mission?? We aren't even going to be here long, so I don't know what the hell she's thinking.." I sighed
Tobirama just laughed at that, to which I narrowed my eyes, before turning serious
"What did you find on your scouting trip?" I questioned
He steeled his eyes too "Well, I snuck into their archives fairly easily, since they don't seem to have had anyone with Uzumaki blood to open their stolen scrolls and put up high level seals. I ended up taking all of those by the way" I smiled and nodded thankfully "The records show that they don't really have that many in their ANBU nor Jonin corps, maybe 20 or so ANBU and a hundred Jonin. Most likely all of their ninja killed during their examinations..." I grimaced and waved him on to continue
"Right, well, They did have records on the current Seven Swordsmen and their Jinchuriki - The holders of the three tails and the six tails" He handed me a copied file that I began to look over
'Hmm... I don't recognize any of these names... One of them is a Hozuki, the wielder of Hiramekarei, says he can use his water chakra in conjunction with his weapon.. Another is a Yuki? The wielder of Kabutowari? She uses her Ice Release to make a spike on the hammer? Scary... A Hoshigaki in possession of Samehada? Seems like it's tradition... The wielder of Kiba apparently has a bloodline that enhances Lightning Chakra. Why aren't they in Kumo? I'll have to look into that... Kubikiribocho is with someone I don't recognize... Shibuki is apparently in the hands of someone with the explosion release?? What are they doing outside of Iwa??? Nuibari is another that I don't know...' I hummed in interest at the capabilities of these first generation.. Though not nearly as good as the second, they are still quite innovative
I looked at the files with the Jinchuriki with a bored face 'Nobody I recognize.. Seems they can't even seal their own tailed beasts correctly, since apparently they can't even access their own Tailed Beast Chakra..'
Kurama cut into my thoughts 'It's either that or they refuse to work with my brother and sister, that's what happened with me and Mito Kit'
I rose an eyebrow and smirked slightly 'Kit? Really?'
The fox humphed in my mind 'Don't let it get to your head. You've proven yourself trustworthy enough for me to at least call you something other than Human, doesn't mean though, that I'm warming up to you or anything'
Freakin Tsundere fox, I love it..
"I say we head for Kubikiribocho first. It is the weakest of the seven, and the one in possession of it is heading out on a mission in a few hours from what I've gathered" Tobirama nodded and went to get battle ready, while I did the same after waking up Minato
"Hmm? What'z happenin" He muttered, rubbing the sleep from his eyes
"Get up, we're leaving on a mission in a few hours for the first blade. I'm taking you and Tobirama with me" I explained to the blonde
He widened his eyes and instantly woke up, running over to his combat gear
I just sighed
'I need to get ready'
~~~ 2-3 Hours later : Exit of Kiri ~~~
We were in the trees on the outskirts of the village, where to our knowledge, the holder of Kubikiribocho would show up
We had been waiting there for an hour or so now, and we weren't sure the guy would show up
"Agh! Where the hell is this guy!" Nanami complained
I sighed in exasperation "He will show up eventually, Nanami. Don't make me take away your research tools" She shut up after that
Luckily we didn't have to wait much longer, because the guy showed up a few minutes later, sure enough with Kubikiribocho on his back. He started to talk to his client for a minute or so, then they both started walking off to the outside of the village
"That's him, let's head out" I whispered and hopped off in the direction of the swordsman, everyone else following closely behind
I made sure to conceal my chakra as much as possible since it mentioned he was a strong sensor, basically the only reason he was able to join the group, besides his skill with the large broadsword
The swordsman and his client were moving at a Civilians pace, so it was fairly easy to follow them
"So what group did you say you were with again" The client asked, trying to make small talk
The man just grunted and simply said "The Seven Swordsmen"
Small talker eh? Or are you not allowed to give out info on your little tea party? Either way, more info for us
The rest of the way was set in silence. The mission the swordsman was on, was a basic escort mission - So we followed them to a small village on the northern side of Kiri
The perfect place to get the Executioners Blade...
"Thank you for your services young man" The client said at the front gate of the village, handing him a back of what looked like bronze coins "Here is your payment, thank you again" He bowed
The swordsman just grunted and turned back around the way he came
( A/N I bet you all were expecting me to write some scene where the client was a bad guy and he tries to stab the guy in the back, huh? WELL TOO BAD! MWAHAHAHA )
We followed him about halfway back, before he stopped suddenly
"I know you're following me, come out" He yelled
'Shit did he sense us? Fuck!' I looked back to the group and they just looked at me with deadpan expressions. I sighed and prepared to go out, before -
"HAHA! You found me! I always love testing out your sensing capabilities man!" A young voice sounded out in the bushes
'Is that? No, it can't be...'
"Shut it Hoshigaki. You know you can't be out here like this. Samehada is too valuable"
'IT IS! HAHA! TWO IN ONE!' I was mentally cheering
The wielder of Samehada just walked right into our clutches! Yes!
"Maah, don't be like that! I want to have fun, and I can't be doing that cramped up in that lame village" The fish man said in a childish manner
"*sigh* Fine, but it wont be my fault when I have to bring your head and sword back to Kiri, you know?" He equipped his blade
The Hoshigaki just laughed "The same to you man..." and charged, Samehada flying right behind him within his grip
The other man started charging too, around Low-Jonin speeds. Nothing I couldn't take care of
They both started to clash both blades in a battle of strength. It seemed the Hoshigaki was winning from the look on the Swordsman's face whenever he hit Samehada...
"HAHA!" The fishman laughed suddenly. The swordsman narrowed his eyes at his figure
"What's so funny???" He asked angrily
The other man just grinned ferociously "Samehada doesn't cut.." he suddenly ducked from their clash and put the shark skin sword up against the swordsman's stomach, before he drug it across - The scales opening up as he did so
"AGHHHHH!" The swordsman screamed and dropped Kubikiribocho to hold his stomach. He was obviously bleeding out now - His intestines were clearly shown, and I'm pretty sure I could see his spleen - "MY SPLEEN" - yep, that's his spleen
The fishman laughed "You should've done your research on the other swords, at least I have the Executioners blade now. Thank you!" he picked up the blade and started to walk away
I dont think so...
"RASENGAN!" I slammed a full powered rasengan straight into the Hoshigaki's back, destroying his vest and mesh shirt and making him drop the two blades
"GAH!?" he flew almost 25 meters up the road, looking like a propeller that fell off a plane, landing with a giant poof of dirt
I picked up Samehada and Kubikiribocho before sealing them away and handing them to Tobirama, and walking up to the other Swordsman
"Really now, attacking your comrades? That's low even for a Kiri shinobi~" I teased in a mocking voice
He growled "Who the fuck are you?! And what the fuck did you hit me with?!?!" the downed man shouted
I put a finger up "Ah ta ta~ None of that now! Who was the one who sent the other flying almost 200 feet?" He glared at me but otherwise kept his mouth shut
"Good! Now then, you can either tell me everything you know about Kiri, and I might not kill you and leave you as a husk of your former self!" I clapped my hands together and smiled
He spat at my feet "Go to hell, you fucking asshole!"
I narrowed my eyes at the fishman "So husk it is then? Alright then..." I activated my Human path and took out his soul, before absorbing it
'Hmm, let us see here.. Best places to eat in Kiri? No... Best places to buy food in Kiri? What the hell? Was this guy like a food critic in his free time or something?' I sighed 'Whatever.. Aha!'
"Alright!" I shouted and Tobirama shunshined right behind me
"What did you find?"
I grinned "It seems the Yuki and Hozuki are going out on a duo mission tomorrow, and he also had the living locations for the wielders of Nuibari, Kiba, and Shibuki"
He matched my grin and nodded
'We're going hunting tomorrow...'

Faveryy Remember that lots of places had incompetent seal masters, and Kiri didn't bother to capture any Uzumaki and killed any that they came across. The Uzumaki scrolls are blood sealed - Thus Kiri not having any powerful barriers
Tobirama was around Mito, a Level 9 or 10 sealing Grand Elder, a lot in his lifetime, and was bound to pick up some stuff on sealing (Like 7 levels of the stuff). Add onto the fact that he's a powerful sensor - Easy pickings in the Archives
