THE ESCAPE PART FIVE
Tasha swiftly gave the bottle to the infant, and she drank the entire bottle, when she was done, she then lulled her to slumber. Little Clara slept peacefully in her arms while clenching Tasha's fingers. There was also a smile escaping her soft little lips. Carefully, Tasha placed her on her cradle, as they all maintained their silence so that little Clara does not wake up.
"Andreas, l agree you have magic in your hands, you're the third person little Clara has accepted". Mary complimented Tasha for managing to win little Clara's heart. Tasha did not want to feel proud or boost about it, she only smiled at Mary then, her gaze shifted promptly to Clara.
"Where is Clara's mother?" When Tasha asked Mary the question, her gaze was still fixed on little Clara.
"She. . . "
"Shhhh. . ." Before Mary could finish her sentence, Tasha hushed her, she placed her finger on her soft lips indicating that they needed to maintain silence so that little Clara could not wake up. They all smiled when they saw little Clara yawning, as she licked her lower lips, she looked adorable when she did that.
Abruptly, Tasha's heart throbbed promptly when she remembered what her plan was, the muscles in her face suddenly tauten. She was busy with little Clara that the idea of her escaping had disappeared from her mind.
What if he has realized that l wasn't in the room and now he is searching for me. or maybe he already knows my plans and he had installed a heavy security in his house. The thought of getting caught could not leave her mind. Tasha knew that somehow she needed to do everything, for her to escape. Time wasn't on her side, and anytime soon, Mr. Juan would walk into his room and find her gone.
In pretense, Tasha yawned as she covered her mouth with her palm so that her voice can not escape from her mouth, when Mary saw her, she understood that she hadn't had her breakfast
"You can go, and have your breakfast downstairs," Mary said to Tasha, presently. Tasha's face brightened when she heard what mary said, this was her plan all along, she knew if she pretended to be hungry she would have the chance to get out of the room and carry out her plan.
"Okay. . ." Tasha gleamed as she stepped out of the room, with a quick movement she descended the spiral staircase and headed to the kitchen.
The air was scented with chocolate, coffee, and fleshy baked bread, Tasha's stomach rumbled shortly when she smelled the beautiful aroma, she was so hungry, she hadn't eaten anything from last night. Before she could take a step, she heard someone mentioned her name. Tasha's heart pounded, she quickly hid behind the wall, then peeped beside it, so that no one could see her.
"Did you see who Mr. Juan, brought in last night?" A female voice asked curiously.
" Tom? You are the driver so tell us, who she was" Everyone gazes fell to where tom was, making him behave awkwardly.
"I don't know anything Mr. Juan Was furious when he got out of the hospital, he didn't tell me where he was going". Tom curled his lips downwards when the thought of him struggling to walk on foot plastered on his mind as his wallet was in the car that Juan had left with.
" Did you see how they melted into each other's eyes?" A female voice interrupted.
"Mmmh. . ." they looked good together, just like a couple." The female voices said in the hymn as they all nodded their heads in agreement.
". . ."
Pfft! When was l melting in his eyes? Me No. . No. . . way, l can never look into that beast's eyes. Tasha thought to herself. She smirked then rolled her eyes. Don't they have work to do, how can they waste their time gossiping.
Peeping from the corner of the wall, Tasha was able to see, Nancy. She was standing with enthusiasm as she tried to explain something to the group that was gathered into the kitchen.
" l have caught a glimpse of her, she is so beautiful," Nancy said, making everyone Face her position. By their sudden expression, Nancy knew that they needed more. She smiled at them and explained how she saw the girl.
Tasha looked in their direction then to the door, when she was sure that no one was watching, she took slow strides, so that nobody hears her footsteps. Luckily, Tasha managed to walk out of the house without getting caught.
Immediately, she walked to the gate where two guards were guarding the huge decorated gate, with electric wire on top of it.
"Where are you going?" One guard asked with a serious look Tasha's eyes broadened as never expected for him to ask the question.
There was a slight tremble in Tasha's voice as she explained her purpose of going out: "Am. . . Am. . . going to the market, the groceries have run out so. . ." Before she could even finish her words the guard quickly opened the gate for her.
Without wasting time, Tasha moved out of the gate, hailed a taxi, and went home.
