Chapter 1: 001 the birth
In the ancient realm of Dulkin Forest, nestled beneath the unwavering reign of the noble Frey family, a grand procession unfolded. Fifteen valiant soldiers, adorned in resplendent armor, stood as protectors and guides for a multitude of nearly five hundred prisoners.
As they traversed the mystical depths of the forest, an enchanted realm whispered secrets to those who dared listen. Towering trees, their gnarled branches reaching toward the heavens, whispered ancient tales of mythical creatures lurking within their midst. The air itself seemed to carry the faint aroma of otherworldly flora, its fragrance intoxicating the senses and imbuing the journey with an ethereal aura.
Amongst the captive throng, each prisoner bore the mark of their submission to justice, a shaved head devoid of the dignified crown of hair, leaving no trace of a beard or mustache upon their visage. It was a symbol of their penance, a visual reminder of the crimes that had brought them under the gaze of the kingdom's law.
"I haven't done any crime, I got framed. I haven't done that murder please let me go!". A prisoner shouted out loud. Suddenly a wimp attack stuck that prisoners back, the soldier said "you psycho you killed your own daughter and your wife and you act like you know nothing"
The commotion swiftly ceased, and they ventured further into the forest. It would take twelve days of walking to reach the prison, but during this time, they might encounter bandits, monsters, or even meet their demise in the mysterious magical forest.
As night fell, the soldiers and prisoners sought a moment of rest before continuing their journey. The soldiers gathered all the prisoners in a single line and splashed water on their faces.
"Let us escape!" exclaimed a prisoner. "Jacky, do not cause trouble now, you will be out of prison in a month or so," said another prisoner. "I understand, Dave, but I have an uneasy feeling about this forest. I sense something bad is about to happen here."
As he spoke, he picked up a small stick from the ground, attempting to break his shackles. Suddenly, a loud noise emerged from nowhere.
"Dave, as I warned, something is about to happen. Farewell for now. If you survive, we shall meet again after a month," said Jacky as he ran away from the soldiers and the other prisoners, disappearing deep into the forest.
The soldiers stood paralyzed, their senses overwhelmed by the resounding sound that had just passed. In the midst of their disarray, they began to mobilize, when suddenly, one of the soldiers noticed the absence of a prisoner. Yet, they paid little heed to his disappearance, for the forest was believed to consume souls such as his.
Meanwhile, at a considerable distance from the soldiers and prisoners, Jacky raced desperately for his life.
Pursuing him were a group of spectral beings mounted on horseback, their countenance more akin to ethereal apparitions than mortal beings. Their long, pointed swords gleamed menacingly, poised to sever Jacky's head at any moment.
Desperate, Jacky cried out, "Please spare me! I shall depart this forest and never return!" The ghostly riders closed in on Jacky, halting before him. One of the horsemen dismounted and advanced towards him.
This figure stood six feet tall, possessed green eyes, and sported horns upon his head. Clad in utter darkness, except for his eyes, he exuded an aura of dread.
Jacky's eyes filled with terror as he pleaded, "I implore you, sire, spare my life." The enigmatic figure responded, "The king of the forest has been reborn. None shall dwell within these woods any longer. Your companions and the prisoners in the prison shall soon meet their demise."
Jacky's head was severed, and his lifeless body was left behind,his head was flung far into the depths of the forest. There was no trace of his head to be found nearby his body….
