Chapter 4: lazy teacher
it has been two weeks, two damn weeks and we have chased that cat 8 times and did some tasks that civilians were too lazy to do.
I know Im getting stronger thanks to my simulation, but it's hard to get any more stat points by training so I'll have to spend some of my built-up points soon.
I sigh at that, time to ask the best question you can ask in this world.
"sensei? can you train me in some lightning jutsu?" I ask as I continue painting the fence.
he looks up from his book and raises the only visible eyebrow he has.
"oh, and why lightning? don't want to blow things up with fire?" he asks with a teasing tone...what am I, 5?
"my affinity is lightning, I tried looking for a scroll to train in my affinity but that's two ranks higher than mine"
well, at least he's thinking about it.
naruto comes up to us and opens his mouth to speak.
"sensei, can you train me too? I want to breathe fire too"... boy isn't your affinity wind?
oh, right he doesn't know that yet.
" very well, we have been doing team exercises for a while now anyway" he agrees... wait... wait wait, that's it?
he wanted us to ask to train together and he would train us? damn you and your teamwork.
after turning in the fence painting mission, we all head to training ground 7
"Okay kids, now listen carefully, we are... going to climb trees!"
what was I expecting?
after a bit of complaining and some explaining from both parties, the others begin to walk trees while I just stand aside near the river.
"Oh, and why aren't you training?" kakashi asked with an eye smile.
I look over at him, then at the river next to me, then at him again... and take a step on the water, then another, and so on until I'm in the middle of the small river.
"..."
"..."
"well I guess you can start the leaf exercise"
okay now that's nice, now I have an excuse on why I can already do that.
taking the leaf offered to me I put it in between my palms and start to concentrate.
about an hour later and some leaves I got bored, looking over at the others I see sakura looking as the two boys train, they are still falling off by the way.
looking over at the notification that I got, I smile eternally.
[nature change: lightning has gone up to 13%]
okay at this rate ill be done in a few days, I should ask sensei for the hand signs for the summoning.
walking over I just ask.
"sensei, can you tell me the hand signs of the summoning jutsu?"
he looks up from his book and stares at me with an uninterested gaze.
"you need a contract for that, it's dangerous otherwise"
" I just want to know for the future sensei, you know that I want a summoning contract so if I get one I don't have to wait to ask someone if no one is around"
nodding he shows me the hand sings by summoning one of his dogs.
great now if I do that, I'll get reverse summoned to the most suited animal summon realm for me...hmm I wonder which animal will I have a contract with.
"by the way, how's the training going?" he asks looking at the leaf I'm still holding.
concentrating on it it starts to crumble on the edges, but not fully.
"well done, not bad for a genin, guess your lightning affinity is high, how about you learn a jutsu?" he asks and I look at him as if he's an idiot.
"I did, the only useful one, since I'm still fresh out of the academy, I can't get higher than C rank scrolls"
"Which one did you learn?"
"The lighting wave, the one that paralyzes the opponent, since the others were not that useful"
" Good choice, do you have any secondary affinities?"
taking a chakra paper out of my pouch I hold it up and send some chakra into it.
it did the same thing but it crumpled more this time since Im training my affinity.
"so water too, that's a deadly combination, say Im also a lightning affinity, and I have a friend with water affinity so what do you say which one will you train first?"
thinking about it, I need lightning to channel it in my sword, so my decision is obvious.
"I'll train with you," I say as I look him in the eyes...eye.
"very well then, you don't happen to have some more of the paper would you I would like to know the others too"
nodding I take out 4 more of the paper and hand it to him, getting a quick thanks, he goes to the others as I follow.
sasuke had a lightning affinity too and a minor fire, naruto had wind, and sakura had water.
okay, well this is unexpected, he's going to train us when he didn't train the original them 7 in the show...hmm I guess it's not bad.
making 2 clones he send the other two to train with them in ninjutsu, while the original stayed with us.
"Okay, my cute little genin, now let's go learn some lightning jutsu to widen your arsenal"
and with that our training began.

sighing I look over at kakashi as he nods in approval.
"good, it's only been a week and you two are progressing nicely"
that was a B rank, it's a lot harder to learn than the C-ranks, but it's worth it.
sitting down and grabbing a leaf I resume where I left off.
looking up I see sasuke still trying to get the jutsu down.
" try using a constant stream instead of forcing all the required chakra into it"
I tell over at him making him snap out of his musings, he thinks about it and nods.
after a few more tries he managed, coming up to me and sitting down he looks over at where the other two are training.
"thanks" he mumbles, to which I just nod.
[nature change: lightning has gone up to 38%]
