Chapter 25: Final Efforts
Smash!—
Both the manikin and my undurable Chestplate broke.
「 Your armor piece named 'Tankman's Leather Chestplate(E)' has lost all durability and broken apart. 」
Annoyance and shock filled the entire atmosphere.
I refused to accept it.
"It broke this quickly?"
Although, I wanted to stop and think of a solution,
My situation wouldn't allow it.
Because,
'There is one more manikin left.'
A tunnel leapt in front of my eyes and I hid inside.
Luckily, no monster followed.
Phew, I calmed my haggard breathing.
The many paths lengths were shortened.
I heard a sound.
Through one of the small holes which I didn't ignite, I saw the group of monsters.
But there's a problem.
Among all the monsters...
"You're hiding there..?"
The manikin hid within the number of wolves, goblins and a couple of golems.
How I was going to get there was difficult to understand.
I had limited mana.
It had only replenished to around forty percent.
'Dammit.'
And I remembered again.
Streaming.
"Can't I try that?"
I knew that the options were far greater when I tried that.
Considering the help I could receive and donations.
I opened my system panel.
I learnt from Collin on how to set it up.
「 Setting up streaming profile and syncing details... 」
「 Complete! 」
「 Would you like to start steaming? 」
「 Y/N? 」
"Haaa..."
I couldn't believe that I had forgotten about this.
But I couldn't blame myself since there were many things going through my head at that time, including Aree herself.
'Who codes such an NPC?'
I clicked the left option.
「 Beginning streaming... 」
「 Cancelled. 」
What?
「 You cannot stream in a restricted area. 」
"Then, where can I stream?"
「 Searching for answers... 」
「 Answer found. You must wait until 'Room 3' to stream. 」
Room three..
'Then that must mean the boss room.'
A puzzled look formed on my face.
Although, I didn't get why I had to wait till then, I complied.
After two minutes,
My fatigue disappeared.
'This is better..'
And my food had vanished.
I had to rely on monster meat.
Which is why...
"I have to fight now."
The clock ticked.
Bang!—
The wall was broken through like an explosion.
A weapon penetrated a wolf's eye.
When the wolf bled on the ground, I released the spear and placed it against my back.
I straightened my back.
"I will make you all suffer more than I have so far."
The massive group of monsters charged at me—five wolves and three goblins, with one massive golem in the back.
Its height was at least five metres tall.
Kiiiiii—
The knives and different kinds of metals, including the flesh, changed.

「 Your strength has increased by 1 」
"Augh..."
My whole body ached and I rested against the wall.
I know I said this before but,
"This game is so realistic."
I took out something from my inventory which I didn't think I would ever hold in my hand.
「 Goblin Flesh(E) 」
Wait a minute.
'Why is this higher ranked than the tutorial food?'
I gulped.
But I decided to check the description.
「 Goblin Flesh(E) 」
「 Sticky flesh from one of the weakest monsters in existence. The flesh would poison whoever ate it and to turn it edible, (a couple) adventurers would cook it to make [Goblin Meat]. 」
"..."
I looked at my items and searched through my thoughts.
Was there anything that would help cook it?
I had never thought that far ahead.
But...
'I still have my powers..'
Or in other words,
My lightning skills.
To use them, I needed mana.
My mana levels were low.
「 Mana: ■■□□□□□□□□□□□□□□ 」
'The penalty made things even worse.'
That's why I couldn't be too reckless.
But I had a plan to sort that out.
I peeked through the walls the same way like I did numerous other times.
I had, at this point, taken out most foes.
The only things remaining were two golems and three wolves.
My head turned to the game panel.
'How long have I been here for..?'
I received my answer right away.
Eight hours in real life.
That was two thirds of the work I do in a day, excluding university which I had a holiday break from.
I needed to be quicker.
The dark-elf told me it would be 'hell'.
But for some reason, I didn't feel that way.
'Is it because I had made plans or was it that I was used to the goblins?'
No same nor similar kind of thought influxed my head.
But I knew one thing.
A thing which I've reminded myself countless times.
"I will complete this dungeon and become stronger fast."
I used the spear as a walking stick to lift my body up.
The out of rhythm footsteps continued.
My body was only this close to falling over.
'Let's proceed with the plan.'
I stood in sight of the monsters.
A leer appeared in my face.
A taunt signalled for them to arrive closer to me.
Almost instantly, the very last monsters ran like I was vulnerable prey.
Stomp!—
The golems were also moving at a faster pace.
'I know I can handle wolves but..'
If the golems joined in, I would definitely lose.
Not because I'm not strong enough.
But because of the penalty after gaining an increase in my other stats.
"That's why..."
The first wolf almost bit my arm.
I didn't use my spear and grabbed the wolf's head with both my hands like a madman.
As I had expected, the other wolves pounced.
They both tore apart flesh.
—But not mine.
"Got you.. idiots."
I smirked while the wolves realized that they hurt their own companion.
Grrrrr!—
An expression of fury appeared and the two other wolves tried to let go of the fur.
However, they failed due to a certain substance which I had poured on the first wolves flesh before they jumped at me.
「 Goblin Blood 」
「 ... Contains sticky properties like natural gums. 」
'I wouldn't have come without a proper plan..'
I take my spear and stab through all three wolves.
「 Your agility has increased by 1. 」
Stomp!—
The golems were metres away.
The gum-like substance wouldn't work on them like this so...
I threw all three corpses as a distraction.
Wooosh!—
The zephyr travelled with me as I skid underneath the distracted golems' legs.
Screech—
The head of my spear was scraped against the golem's first leg.
It fell on one knee.
The other one followed.
Smash!—
It missed its punch and hit the floor.
I ran up the arm and leaped from the delayed golems shoulder to the slightly injured robot.
Crack..
I jabbed the blue sphere once.
A response occurred.
The other stoney humanoid creature ended up hurting the other while aiming at me.
I used the opportunity.
「 Lightning Manipulation lvl.2 activated. 」
I shocked the core while jabbing in various other ways.
Shatter!—
「 You have defeated a golem. 」
"Aaaahhh!!"
Every ounce of my energy was used as I shattered the other core, also damaged by my lightning.
「 You have defeated a golem. 」
「 All opponents have been defeated. 」
「 You have cleared 2/3 stages. 」
