A woman with black hair and green eyes wearing a long pink dress said to Hikigaya as she came to greet him with a hug.
"Sumeragi, huh, yes, I'm back."
"Mou! Why are you so cold to your wife!?"

Hikigaya retorted in his mind though he did not say anything, and just continued walking to the Office of Joint Staff with the woman hugging his right arm—the current chairwomen of UFN.
(If I'm going to evaluate this woman... it would be a combination of Yukinoshata intelligence, Yuigahama instinct, and Utaha's direct showing of feelings... A really dangerous woman.)
Hikigaya said in his mind as he evaluated the current fiancee of Zero itself and the successor of the current UFN as chairwomen.
(Even though she's the same age as me... she has already accomplished something that any woman in this could not possibly obtain... The most powerful woman that currently reins the current political world, Sumeragi Kaguya)
"Hey, you're thinking something again... you need to relax more now that you are currently in your retirement phase..."
"That was your wrong Sumeragi... wearing this mask and uniform was something I could not relax with."

There was a silent pause between them as they continued walking to the office of Joint Staff.
"Mou! You just want to avoid talking to me, so you would always say such heavy things... you should fix your rotten attitude, particularly when dating a woman."

(Her instinct, like Yuigahama when I tried to avoid her, and bluntness compared to Utaha regarding feelings... I need not be consumed by her phasing...)

"Then, why did you let those Knightmare frames sortied out on my way? Did DEM industries make it hard for you?"
"No, they are not something that we can worry about..."
"Then why?"
"I see, Diethard must be manipulating the information about you requesting reinforcement."
(Curses! That Diethard really wants me to struggle him to death. How much did he love seeing Zero being dramatic that he would send those Knightmare frames to record me!?)
Hikigaya angrily said in his mind. Though he did not show it outside, still, there was a woman who could see through him beside him.
"Are you angry, Dear Zero?"
"No! Of course not.. just let Diethard know he was suspended for going near me in 1 year, no in 10 years!"

"..."
"Ahem, dear Zero, your true personality was showing"
Sumeragi, with a charming smile, said to Hikigaya, who tried to fix his posture and attitude while coughing.
"Ehem, Anyway! Do you have anything that you need from me? If not, I'm going to return home."
"Please wait a minute, Zero-sama."
Schienzel said as he brought a Mini Pad with a picture of someone he knew too well.
"Right now, the current UFN was still stabilizing its power and foundation... given enough time, we would be able to erase any kind of military force in the whole world and any country who harbors deep malice and ambition, so..."
"So you want to assign a bodyguard to me... you already know that no one can possibly defeat me in any combat force, right?"
"Yes, that's why she's more like an escort that bridges between you and us."
"I see."
(I cannot deny his argument, particularly when he brought UFN when it was supposed to be my responsibility to take care of... he's still as clever as before.)
"Still, would not Kururugi was also available?"
"Well, you see, his hand was already full with defeating the terrorist in Europe while helping of finding Tabane Shinonono."
"So was she's only the available..."

Hikigaya sluggishly said as he lay on the sofa after his long day of becoming Zero and talking to Schienzel and Sumeragi.
"Long time no see Kallen-san!"
"Wait! Stop rubbing me!"
"Hmmm, won't you guys relax a bit more?"
Hikigaya Hachiman, who was lying on the sofa, said to his little sister and the woman who came together with him from UFN Headquarters.
"Idiot! How could I relax when your little sister was all over me!"
The woman with big blue eyes and short red hair said as she tried to separate herself from Hachiman's little sister, whose still rubbing her cheeks against her.
"Ehhh!? What is so bad about little skinship? Right, Oni-chan?"
Hikigaya Komachi said as she questioned her big brother, whose already sleeping as exhaustion started catching him.
"Haah... here I'm giving you a chance to attack Kallen-san, then you wasted it... you're really a useless brother."
"Ehh, that was honeytrap!?"
"Right! Listen, Kallen-san. My brother was obsessed when it came to responsibility... Go for it! I'm rooting on the other side."

"..."

The woman thought as she looked at the two siblings with a smile. She's one of the two knights of Zero. One of the strongest Knightmare frame pilots in the world aside from Kururugi Suzaku, her name is Kallen Kōzuki.
