These words took everyone in the chat by surprise. Misaka felt that joining this chat room was a bad idea.
For Yami, confusion could be seen on her face. The best assassin, the golden darkness, a hero? She couldn't believe such madness.
Inori calmly looked at the chat room. A while ago, she had already labeled the members of this group as 'weird people.'
Yuno blinked a few times before exploding.
"Yuno Gasai: Me?! A hero?! Yuki, that's awesome!"
"Mikoto Misaka: Alright! I give up on this chat. I'm not here to read your delusions."
"Yami: I agree."
"Inori Yuzuhira: I agree" x2
As expected, Yuno was the first to believe, while the other members treated him as a total madman with his delusions. Misaka even thought she was crazy for still being online in this chat room.
"Yuki Uchiha (Champion): This may sound unbelievable to many of you, but think about it. Have you ever saved a person or an animal from death?"
After thinking for a moment, Misaka, as a level 5 esper, had saved a few people in this city, including her kohai, who constantly clung to her like magnets.
"Yuno Gasai: Yuki, now I remember saving a little cat from drowning in a river. Does that count?"
"Yuki Uchiha (Champion): Of course, it counts! Saving a life makes you a heroine. You should be very proud of that."
"Yuno Gasai: Kya? Nee~ Yuki, you're making me blush."
Yuno placed both hands on her cheeks, shaking her blushing head.
"Mikoto Misaka: Thinking about it, I've saved a few people in Academy City... But still, this is weird!"
"Yami: My job is to kill; saving someone is out of the question."
"Inori Yuzuhira: I don't remember."
Each member was in confusion and excitement. Yuki knew this was not easy to believe, but since there's something as absurd as a multiverse chat, isn't it more believable to be a hero?
"Yuki Uchiha (Champion): If you don't believe me, there's a button in the left corner of the chat, it's a karma ranking."
After reading his message, they wasted no time and pressed the button.

Unlike Misaka's rejection and competitiveness, Yuno didn't care about such things. However, she couldn't help but have a nosebleed, seeing how high Yuki's numbers were. She had already put Yuki in the same category as a deity.
"Yami: I don't accept it; I've never saved anyone."
Yami denied any possibility of saving others. She thought those numbers were simply wrong.

Inori hesitated a bit to answer. Her identity is sensitive in her world, but she also wanted to know more. From the Champion's questions, she concluded that he didn't know about her, and her purpose for the chat ended. But her curiosity about different worlds touched her, and the invitation said 'The Champion wants to help you,' never mentioning that the Champion knew about her.
"Inori Yuzuhira: I'm 16 years old... I'm a terrorist."
The entire chat room was speechless by her declaration.
Especially Misaka, she thought this group was becoming darker.
"Mikoto Misaka: Seriously? How are you in second place? Are you sure these points aren't negative?"
"Yuno Gasai: That's incredible! But it must be tough."
"Yami: I understand."
Yuki decided not to respond. He thought Inori's identity was not ordinary, but he never thought she would be on the opposite side unless she had a motive. Yuki didn't think the chat room would invite someone negative.
"Yuki Uchiha (Champion): I understand. Anything else?"
"Inori Yuzuhira: I'm the vocalist of a band."
"Yuki Uchiha (Champion): I see... You're a hero!"
Inori was a bit stunned by his response. She didn't understand how a vocalist could be a hero.
"Mikoto Misaka: Is it serious? Isn't it too easy and cheap to be a hero?"
Misaka also didn't understand how a vocalist could be a hero.
"Inori Yuzuhira: I..."
"Yuki Uchiha (Champion): I understand your doubts, but it's very reasonable for her to be in second place. A music artist has the power to save many people with their songs."
What Yuki said was true. In Inori's world, she indirectly saved thousands of people through her songs. Yuki knew this well, as a song had saved him from suicide in the past.

Everyone in the chat couldn't help but hold their breath. Inori blinked several times in surprise, Yami almost fell from the tree, Misaka opened her mouth in shock, and Yuno even had another nosebleed.
Each of them couldn't help but look at Yuki differently, wondering if they were currently chatting with a legendary figure.
The chat room fell silent as they pondered whether they should treat Yuki differently.
"Yuki Uchiha (Champion): Don't give it too much importance; after all, they are just numbers."
(There's no way they are just numbers!) exclaimed each of them in their minds.
"Yuki Uchiha (Champion): Well, let's get back to the topic. If you don't mind, why don't we share information about our worlds? It would be helpful to know about each other's circumstances."
