Chapter 9: Pafall si g*go
After that conversation, Jessie blocked him everywhere. May it be on social media, phone calls or messages or in real life. She never knew life would be so carefree. Masyado na niyang naikulong ang sarili niya sa mundo ni Ken. Puro kay Ken lang nagrevolve ang mundo niya for like a decade already. And now she's finally moving on. Kasi wala na yung Ken na dati niyang kinabaliwan.
But despite the fact na nagmomove on siya at kinakalimutan si Ken, hindi parin niya maiwasang maghanap ng katulad niya. Katulad nung dating Ken na minahal niya. Yung Ken na maalaga sa pamilya, may pangarap sa buhay, may respeto sa ibang tao, may malasakit sa kapwa...
This school year bumalik na ulit si Jessie sa pag aaral. She became a part-timer at her work before instead of full time so she could study at the same time. Syempre may time parin siyang magparty kahit once a week manlang. She works in the morning from 7-12nn then goes to school at 1-9pm, then goes to party at 10-12 on weekdays after class when not busy or when super stressed out. She's never been more happy since she removed Ken from her life.
She tried dating guys from school and from work, even her childhood friend from her hometown. pero wala eh...walang tumagal. So she eventually tried Tinder.
At that time, gusto lang ni Jessie ng may malandi lang. Try lang niya to go with the flow at hindi maghanap ng serious relationships.
Then eventually, may nameet siyang guy. They became friends. Yes, friends lang kasi may gf si guy, pero nagkakalabuan.
"Oh Don, kamusta na kayo ni Kate?" Jessie asked.
"Same old same old...I keep holding on...pero di ko alam kung gusto pa niya...tingin ko naghahanap na ng iba yun..."
"Just keep trying...atleast diba ginawa mo best mo? It's her loss..."
"Thanks...ikaw musta? Yung childhood friend mo? Ano balita?"
"Well...ayun pafall si g*go. Tapos sasabihin sakin na di daw siya ready for commitment? No communication for a month? Tapos biglang in love siya sa iba?...so yun I broke connections with him."
A year passed and ganun parin set up ng buhay ni Jessie.
