Now that they were on a verge of death in her eyes that she was pushing Noah to safety instead? She had no confidence in his power because she never knew… and Noah was actually hoping to tell her now.

However, after she kissed his face, she pushed him off. The diamond mist then carried him away and past the demon that was disoriented by it as well. The shadow shield behind Laquisha was left on its own, and it would break in the next second.

"Fuck it!" Noah didn't wait for his body to land before he activated Space Transference. He then tumbled the next second before rushing to get to Laquisha before the shield breaks apart. However, the mist had already pushed him meters away. Even if he dashed towards her, Space Transference might expire before he could arrive.
