She looked confused, intrigued.
_What was Merlin cooking huh?
_ ooh! She was doing corn cake!
_Cornbread? Sounds fun
_Yes! what do you think they will bring? Hannah said people that come from the states bring big TV's and toys, she said they find them in the trash!
_Hannah said that? What an imagination, i doubt they will bring anything, its enough with all their clothing and stuff
_ I think a TV would perfectly fit anywhere!
_hmm, you mean... how big?
_Like thiiiis!_ she extended both of her arms to make almost half the back of the truck.
_Chuckle*_ It's amazing to hear a kids impossibles, it just makes everything feel reachable.

As we continued to talk about nonsense the ride felt shorter. I could feel her mood became lighter. The sky looked reddish near the sea but almost pitch black above my head. The small dots of light far in the dark felt cheerful. The brightness became stronger as we approached the houses that hid down the hill.
_ She lives in the pink house right?

As I stepped down I felt a sudden rush through my skin. I knocked and I could hear the noise of indistinguishable voices speaking on TV. I was also able to hear the rushing steps of a small legged thing. It kept scratching the door as I knocked. Suddenly, movement.
_ Ohh! Nari.. Ros will be here in a moment.
_hmm Thanks a lot.
I could now hear her steps, running down the stairs .
_NAAA..aari.. How are you, heh…
_Did she forget something in your house?_ Noelia looked curious, but she liked me, and knew I did not interact with guys much, so she trusted I would not drag Rosette to something funny.
_ I came on my own, i was headed to Mamia's and i thought of her to accompany me, if that's okay.

_I went to your house… on my bike, but you were not there, the thing is that i had previously implored my mom to let me go, so of course I could not just go back…

I took three long steps to reach the truck before her. I could see little Lillie looking at us so what followed was a whole new experience. I opened the door for Rosette. Little Lillie looked at me and I could see the cringe in her eyes, but I couldn't help it. I really owed Rosette a good ride.

Though little Lillie could seem noisy, and though that is the complete truth, she knows when to shut up. Rosette kept smiling out the window, it was her attempt to keep me from seeing it, however the reflection in the glass gave her away.
