Chapter 12: Worst humiliation
Alice knew one of her dad secretary Mr. Huang, He was the only one that made contact with Alice since she was a kid.
So She gave Mr Huang a call, Mr Huang asked her to come to hotel XYX and wait him in the hotel lobby at 10 o'clock. He emphasized 10 o'clock for few times. But Alice didn't want to waste Nick time so she arrived before 9.
Alice was waiting in the lobby when she saw her father leaving the hotel.
"Dad" Alice called her father and chased him.
"What are you doing here ? I told you I don't want to see you again and don't call me dad. we are not related" Her father was indifferent toward her and he glared to Mr Huang fiercely.
"I told you to come at 10, why you come at this time ?" Mr Huang was angry, He scolded Alice.
Alice understood now, Mr. Huang deliberately asked her to come at 10 so she would met her dad. But she didn't care, she hold Nick wrist then let him faced her Dad
"Dad, he is my witness. he was with me on that night..he"
"so he is your partner in crime, a scammer. I bet he is one of your gigolo " Alice dad sneered at Nick
"dad.. listen to me please. He can prove you that" Alice begged
"Can you call security and throw this b**ch away" he ordered one of the bellboy.
In few seconds, two big security came.
Nick was still shocked with Alice dad accusations. Before he could do anything, the security look Alice away and threw her outside the hotel.
Nick couldn't believed what he saw. as far as he remembered his dad never said bad thing to him or his sisters, alway protect them. His dad even treated his sisters far more careful then him. But this man, how come he humiliated his own daughter in public like that.
Nick run quickly out side the building to check Alice condition. He found Alice was unconscious on the ground, and he notice there was bruise on her forehead. He was very sorry for Alice, what a poor girl.
He took Alice and called her name but No respond, then suddently a hand tapped his right shoulder. It's Mr Huang "give it to her" Mr Huang handed Nick a folder, Nick stared at Mr. Huang for while before he took it. After hand out the folder, Mr Huang got into the car where Alice father was and they went away without took any glance at her.
Nick took her home, put her on a bed. He called his office and informed them that he would be working from home. Then, he was checking Alice before heading to living room and did some work on his laptop.
Alice woke up, she screened her surroundings which looked familiar to her. she recognised she was in Nicks' bedroom.
Meanwhile, in living room Nick just finished his lunch and decided to check Alice condition again. Nick came to the room , he saw she was awake then he went out.
After few minutes, he came back with a glass for warm milk.
" it's pass noon and you didn't have any breakfast. drink this milk, you need it"
Alice just stayed still
"do you want me to use shameless method to force you to drink it ?" He just said it out of blue, he didn't even know what he would do if she still refused to drink it. Luckily, his trick worked. Alice took and drink few sip.
"finish it, I am serious with my word"
Alice no choice so she emptied the glass
Nick took the glass. He remembered when his dad was upset with him or his sisters, His mum would coaxed his dad, after while his anger gone and all back to normal
"Your mother will help to calm your dad. when he's calm we'll look for him and explaint everything. Ok ?" Alice didn't say anything, but her face turned more gloomy. Then suddently sound coming from Alice handbag, she took her phone out, but she didn't take the call. Nick took a glance, it showed 'mum' on caller id.
"answer it .."commanded nick
Alice smirked. She was unwilling to answer it, but at the end she still answer it.
Nick left the room so Alice could have a chat freely with her mum. sounds like her mum shouted at her, it was very loud. he could hear some bad words and curses .
He shook his head helplessly, he could not believe that her mum did same thing as her dad, humiliate her.
