Chapter 50: Extreme Danger

Just right outside of the cave that was currently surrounded by a bunch of personnels, Luna was currently leaning against one of the trees about a mile away from the cave, seemingly waiting for someone to come out of that cave.

About a day right after she had bailed Ronald out of jail, just as she arrived over to the Kuangge household in order to spend some more quality time with Ronald, she saw a bunch of the Kuangge's staffs and subordinates all running around with a panic look on their faces right outside of the household.

So she asked one of the gatekeepers what had happened and why everyone seemed to be panicking.

And of course, since it was widely known that Ronald was a complete simp for Luna, the gatekeeper told her what had happened.

Apparently Ronald had suddenly disappeared from the residence with pretty much no traces of him to be found whatsoever.

When she had heard about this news, Luna was completely dumbstruck with absolute terror.

She just bailed Ronald out yesterday and now he's gone off somewhere else again?

Luna's first thought was that something terrible had happened to Ronald.

After all, how could he simply disappear just like that out of thin air from the Kuangge household unless if someone was planning a coordinated attack on him?

So Luna mobilized all of her subordinates to try and locate where Ronald had disappeared off to.

However, even after about a few days later after she had done so, there was still no signs of Ronald anywhere.

So after thinking about it for a bit, Luna felt that Ye Fan had done something to Ronald, since he was the only one who had any actual hostility towards Ronald in this life.

Thus, Luna decided that she was going to pay Ye Fan a visit at the hospital and question him.

And if Ye Fan didn't give her an adequate answer, she was going to execute him right on the spot.

But just as she was about to head out and go to the hospital, one of Ye Fan's subordinate had contacted one of her subordinate and notified them that the Kuangge family had kidnapped the Princess of the Leighton family and that they had hired an extremely powerful 'masked figure' in order to do so.

Of course, Luna didn't believe this at first considering that it came from one of Ye Fan's subordinate and the fact that this had never happened before in her previous life, so she decided to do some digging herself in order to verify the authenticity of the message.

And after a few days of digging around, it seemed that what Ye Fan's subordinate had stated before was true, or well at least about a powerful masked figure kidnapping the Princess of the Leighton family.

Luna didn't know if it was the Kuangge family who hired the masked figure to do so, but she really hoped that it wasn't the case, because that would mean that Ronald would be in immense danger.

But she decided to leave Ye Fan alone for now and asked her subordinates to keep her updated about the masked figure's movement every so often instead, since she had a feeling that the masked figure would know where Ronald had gone off to.

And just about a few hours ago, her subordinates notified her that China's Intelligence Agencies have verified that the masked figure was currently in a cave holding the Princess hostage.

So Luna completely dropped everything she was doing and hurriedly rushed over to the location of the cave with her bodyguards and stood about a mile away from the cave, where she can get a clear view of the masked figure while maintaining a safe distance away from him, just in case if any problematic situation arises.

Now that Luna has a clear vision on everything that was happening, with the amount of helicopters and tanks that was surrounding the cave, she was positive that no matter how strong this supposed masked guy was suppose to be, there was no way he was going to be able to manage to escape from this situation without handing over the Princess of the Leighton family.

However, it seems that the other three women that had bailed Ronald out about two weeks ago had the same idea as her and decided to come visit the cave in order to also question the masked figure about Ronald's location.

This also further supported Luna's theory about the other three women being regressors just like her, but she still wasn't worried about it that much.

So what if they're regressors and wanted to capture Ronald's heart now?

Ronald still loves her dearly after all.

Right?

Well anyways, what surprised her the most was when she saw that Iris was also seemingly waiting for this 'masked figure' to come out, so she couldn't help but start wondering if Iris had regressed as well.

Even though Luna felt like this wasn't the case since Iris was suppose to be on Ye Fan's side to begin with, she couldn't help but think to herself that if Iris was infact a regressor...

Then what about everyone else that had confronted her after Ronald's death back in her past life?

Could they perhaps be regressors as well?

But she scratched out that idea from her head since if they were actually regressors, then they would've at least tried to keep up-to-date with what Ronald was doing and would've came over to the forest as well if that was the case.

Just as she was thinking to herself about everything that had happened in her past life, two figures could be seen slowly emerging out of the dark cave.

But when those two figures had fully emerged out of the cave, she felt that a bolt had suddenly struck her body.

'No way...'

'Ronald... is currently in extreme danger right now...'
