After he fought that monster and defeated it at the cost of many unnessicary deaths and destruction monsters felt confident. The small groups that were appearing in short intervals turned to Bigger, stronger groups of monsters and it went to the point where nobody could fight them.
That's when people started to rise, people that had abilities and or just wacky technology fought these monster back and people called them heroes. When they started to appear, the government and rich donors gathered these people and created a system to rank these heroes. That was the hero association and after many months of this going on it became the norm.
But there was one that stood at the top with overwhelming strength, speed, and firepower, and they called him King. He fought the toughest of the monster that the normal heroes couldn't fight and with him being so strong they could no longer put some of these heroes in A-rank anymore, that's when the S rank was created. The top of the heroes, their strength, abilities, or techniques were off the charts and these people were.

All of these heroes have their reasons to fight and kill these monsters but King is doing so not for fans or anything like that. After two years of this, he was known as the "strongest human" of all the heroes. Let us go back to when he defeated that first monster and show you what happened.
4 months after king beat the monster; this was what his schedule looked like,
daily necessities, train, get the crap beat out of him by a monster sent by the god that blamed him for his own mistake, get hunted by the house of evolution and monster association. He had no free time except when he was eating, showering, or crapping. He had tried to find the House of Evolution, but it was hidden to well and he wasn't strong enough for the monster association.
What pissed him off though was that random monsters were always finding him, as if they were searching or something, he had to fight everyone and it was pretty tedious. He had always tried to fix it with his probability manipulation but something always interfered with it.
King who was walking down the street had people looking at him in awe and admiration while others took pictures and asked for autographs. He had made a name for himself for killing major threats and all monsters sent by god. This also caused him to get recruited by the hero association a while back.
[OMG it's king, guys let's get an autograph all our friends are going to be so jealous]

King who was walking down the street with his eyes closed had a bright glow that seemed to color his skin, his eyebrows were scrunched as he heard footsteps coming to him.
Facing toward them, the girls were surprised before they asked for an autograph. Giving it to them, he was about to leave when he got crowded by people asking for his autograph.

After that was finished, he let out a sigh before he started to walk home but it was not in the same place as before. He got himself a house out in the forest, It was dark and the stench of blood was so strong that it would make any normal human that walked there throw up, there was an intense raging aura that surrounded his house, and all around it monsters lay dead. Craters, burned trees, and ash lay all around.

8 months later:
It has been one year since king has arrived in this world and his mood was only getting worse, as his powers grow so did the monster and the destruction. There were more monsters now, and they were showing up in groups and some had powers like fire manipulation or generation, telekinesis, water manipulation, and many more and he had to beat them in groups. The life and death situations were only making him stronger and in turn, the monsters only got stronger and harder to deal with.
King who was outside was running deep in the forest at a speed that looked like teleportation behind him were four eight-meter tall monsters that were all just as fast or faster. As they all ran, they left a giant crater in the floor there strength was enormous as all the trees in their way were slapped out of the ground with ease.
{Holy shit! Looks like I need to confront them, this is going to hurt like a bitch.}
as King thought that he skidded to a stop and so did the monster, suddenly everything got heavy as the trees sunk in the ground. King had a face that could only be described as "what the fuck."
[Come on, gravity manipulation! You got to be shitting me! What, do you have spatial manipulation?]
As king said that the monster opened a space portal underneath his feet disappearing and reappearing in front of the one with earth manipulation.
{Well... this is going to a long battle}
5 months later:
King who was in his house was on the floor; his legs were crossed and his four arms were on his knees while he was breathing in a rhythmic pattern. He seemed to be the only one in existence as he shut everything else out and focused only on his breath.
As he inhaled and exhaled the room started to warm up and in his mind, he only focused on a flame that was in his mind. It was 10x10x10 and it excluded a terrifying heat, as he got closer to the flame he felt that he was going to unlock something powerful, as he got closer his house started to shake and it was heating up more.
But as he was going to touch the flame, he woke up from his meditation by someone shaking his body.
[King, king, king!]
As he looked forward, he saw a man in a business suit shaking him back and forth with vigor, his body was covered in sweat and he had a pale face almost paperwhite. Looking at the guy, he stood up with anger on his face his eyebrows scruzed as his eyes glowed.
[What! Haven't I told you guys not to disturb me on my meditation days!] king looked at him only for him to fall{fucking dicks}

After getting his cool king could only sigh and he rubbed the bridge of his nose. Getting up the guy had a look of relief only to hand king a paper that made his anger jump to the surface.
[Is this a fucking S rank promotion paper!] He slammed the paper on the ground as his whole body bulged as he gritted his teeth[ you better get out of here before something happens.]
The man ran out of the house at an inhuman speed that he shouldn't have had, king could only sigh as he chuckled a bit. Having a good laugh King sat on the couch with a face of wonder, he stared at his hands as he felt he was close to something.
[I wonder what that flame was, it felt so familiar but I can't put my finger on it]

Right now king who was taking a call was looking at the entire city from a building not to far away from what was cause for the distruction of antire city.

as he was about to say something the monster suddenly said something that made king amost crush his phone.

hearing that king let out an angry growl that was heard by the person on the phone.

saying that king hung up the phone before taking off his jacket before jumping from the building with such power that the entire roof collapsed.
king who was flying in the air came up on the monster hide before punching it while exploding his fist making the long body that spanned the city hit the floor with a crash that sent a shock wave through the entire city.

[ARRRRRRRRRR!]
The monsters scream could be heard through the entire city as explosion after explosion continued to sound under it's screams.
