Chapter 2: System
Opening his eyes, Alex found himself standing in front of an island, looking around while checking everything in his surroundings he found a large tree that has thick foliage, a perfect cover under the glaring hot sun. Walking towards the large tree to seek some shelter, Alex could not help but curse at his own misfortune.
'Man... of all the places that I could land, I just had to land on some island where human contact is near impossible... except if the Island itself had some tribes living within, but judging by some occasional beast roars, chances are pretty low.'
Looking towards the open sea, Alex could not believe that he was this unlucky. Being thrown into an island that looks likes uninhibited by humans and was also full of beasts, without having strength nor survival experience nearly caused Alex a mental breakdown. Calling the system his last bit of hope if he wants to survive this world is not so farfetched that Alex immediately called for it, hoping to at least get a starter pack that would help him with his current predicament.

[booting up.... 10%.... 30% ...33%... 50%..... 69%..... 70%... 90%....100%..]
*insert window's 3.1 sound*

Staring at the blue screen in front of him, without much hesitation he clicked the Y button, agreeing to the tutorial.
[The system only had 5 functions, Status, Inventory, Shop, Mission, Quests]
[Status- checks the skills that host's acquired and learned including the SP that host earned from missions and quests]
[Inventory- stores the item the host wants, only had 200 slots and each slot can only stack up to 99x on each same item]
[Shop Points- can be earned by doing missions and quests]
[Shop- using the SP that the host earned, the host can buy the necessary skill, magic, and even your daily necessities. (Note: you can only purchase items and skills coming from the Fairy Tail world.)]
[Missions- the system will give the host some task at random or depends on the situation the host is in, consist of both reward for success and penalty for failure. (Note: the host has the right to refuse the mission given by the system without suffering any form of penalty or punishment)]
[Quests- when the host joins a guild or creates one in the future, the quest panel will activate giving additional rewards when the host picks up a guild quest, after successfully completing the said quest. Rewards will be determined by the quest difficulty judge by the system.]
Looking at the blue screen in front of him, Alex could not help but smile a little, at least he could choose whether to accept the mission or not, as for the Quest tab, that's just icing on the cake.
Remembering his current predicament Alex could not help but ask the system, clutching unto this tiny bit of hope, that maybe... just maybe, he had a system starter pack saving him from dying early 2-3 days after he arrived at this new world.
'system, do I have a starter pack or something? maybe a reward for completing the tutorial?'
Waiting for 3 seconds that seemed like an eternity, he finally heard a sound on his head
'ding'
'starter pack 1x'
'host can visit the inventory tab to view and claim the item'
Knowing that he had at a starter pack, Alex was elated. Finally!!
Checking the inventory tab, Alex was teary as he opened the starter pack given to him by the system.
'ding'
'congratulations'
'host has found, the indestructible black and azure hoodie that is always fresh and will never go bad, the indestructible red t-shirt that is always fresh and will never go bad, the indestructible black underwear that is always fresh and will never go bad, the indestructible black jagger pants that is always fresh and will never go bad, the indestructible pair of black sandals for men, Arc of Embodiment, Perfect Mana/Ethernano Control and All-Weapon Mastery.'
Looking at the names listed in front of him Alex was dumbfounded.
'system'
'yes, host'
'these clothes... does that mean If I wear them I will be indestructible?'
'the answer host is, no, it will only protect you from sharp and penetrating objects, but the impact will still remain. An example would be if Acnologia slashes you with his sword, you will not be cut but the force behind the sword still remains crushing your body. Or if a boulder is thrown at you by Acnologia, your clothes will be fine but your not gonna be.'
'I see'
'host can look on the bright side, sneak attacks will not work on you, you will not need to change your clothes anymore as it is forever fresh and indestructible at that.'

1st POV

Staring at the setting sun, even though I was excited about what's to come for the future, my heart could not conceal the worry and anxiousness at the same time either. Even though the first 3 hours was somewhat exciting but when I think about the life I've had left on earth, my friends, and especially my family all of that excitement was replaced with worry and melancholy.
'sigh... I wonder what they are doing right now... are they okay? good thing I still had my little brother and my big sister for them to lean on...'
Without even knowing, tears started streaming down on my face
"Dad, Mom, I-... I'm sorry... I'm sorry~... I would not be there anymore... I would not be able to take care of you anymore when you grow older... I have failed the both of you... *sniff* *sniff* "
As I curled up right beside the bonfire I created using my newly acquired magic, I started recalling all the memories I made during when I was still alive back on earth, all the happy ones, the sad ones, and all of my memories consisting of me and my family.
Recalling both of my parents, I could not help but think about what are they currently doing... how are they coping with my death? do my little brother and big sister okay? are they fine?
Thinking about my family I left behind on earth, part of me was hoping all of this was real, part of me also hope that all of this was just a nice dream waiting for me to wake up and have our usual breakfast as a family.
Falling asleep due to mental exhaustion I just hope that tomorrow will be better.
