Chapter 2: To Ruthless!!!
Edwin turned his attention to the thugs, as he thought about how to torture them for nearly killing him again. As he stood up, pain started to envelop his entire being " this body is so frail and weak I still have mana due to my soul, so I should not waste too much power on these pieces of trash."
he thought with killing intent surrounding him. The thugs started to feel cold sweat as the youth stood up staring at them with no emotion. As if the person changed he was not begging them not to hurt him instead he looked at them like they were dead men walking.
" Which one of you hit me first," Edwin said coldly at the group, they were shocked for a moment but returned back to their senses. This was just the youth beat up now he's acting arrogant to them " I did it what are you going to do you f$%^!@ punk!"
the tallest of the group said sneering, walking toward Edwin without a care. " Good I'll let you die slowly." he said look at the tall thug, the thug stopped for a moment then chuckled " Ha I was told to cripple you but now I want to end you for being a smartass,"
he said as he took out a switchblade from his pocket. " I cut you up real good." the thug said while waving the knife in front of Edwin. To his surprise, Edwin was still composed even with the threat of a weapon.
The leader got irritated by how calm he was " You f^&^& kid eat this." he said charging at Edwin. The rest of his gang watched in entertainment, but the next scene changed their expression from satisfied smirks to ones of shock.
The weak kid they almost beat to death with unmatched speed dodged the knife and kicked it out the hand of their leader.
The next scene left them even more confused as the kid ruthlessly delivered a powerful kick to his nether region causing him to be frozen. In place grabbing onto his mandibles while tearing up before collapsing to the ground foaming at the mouth.
" Pathetic mortals know your place." he calmly said with no emotion glaring at the other thugs that had a shocked expression. Now his gaze was now on them, as they stared at him, his expression void of emotions a chill ran up their spine. They then took the situation seriously " Get this f^*^$" the four remaining thugs rushed towards as Edwin uttered "FOOL!" he grabbed the knife that he kicked like a specter he dashed towards them with astonishing speed. He swiftly slashed the throats of the four thugs. The remaining confused expression stayed on them, not even how they were killed.
"Even at the lowest stage I'm still able to take care of a few pieces of trash with only using a little bit of mana." a smirked form as he thought but then returned emotionless.
He suddenly closed his eyes as white orbs flew from the four corpses and onto him he heard the pleading and screaming of the souls as they were absorbed into his body. The wounds on his body healed in seconds with the feeling more mana coursing through him.
" That's better I feel recharged, alright first things first who set this up, this was not your average mugging if it was they'd probably killed me at first sight and the leader said he was ordered to break my legs but by whom?" he contemplated for moment before walking to the passed out leader he places his right index finger on the leader's forehead a dark luminescent light slowly entered the leaders forehead.
