Chapter 13: Rescue

"Ms. Miller, when was the last time you have experienced these?" the doctors asked her

"She is fine from the past 2 years Doctor, she never experienced something like this," Rudy answered their queries

"Mr. Rudy, I have posed the question to her and we want to hear the answers from her," one of the doctors replied to him and Rudy sealed his lips

"Louisa, we are waiting," the senior doctor said when Louisa didn't reply anything for whole 5 minutes

"Rudy is right, I haven't experienced these things, but"

"But what Ms. Miller? What is that thing which you are hiding from us?" the young doctor asked her

Louisa looked at Rudy who is staring at her with a puzzled expression

"Ms. Miller, if you don't share anything with us how would we treat you and make you all hale and healthy?" the doctors asked her

"Is it real? Can I trust you people?" she asked them

"Yes Lou, we all are real and you can totally trust us," Rudy said taking a step closer to Louisa

"I have had some p...," when Louisa was saying something the room's door barged open

"Sir, you can't enter this room without permission," the nurses who came behind him tried explaining him

"So you people mean that I should sit silently watching the injustice being done to my daughter?" he roared

"Mr. Miller, there is no injustice taking place here," Rudy said strolling near to him

"Out of everyone in this world she trusted you the most Rudy, how could you do this to her?" Oliver Miller asked him

"Mr. Miller, I have done nothing wrong. What are you alleging me about? For taking care of your daughter in her most vulnerable situation?" Rudy too yelled at Oliver

"Whatever the situation was, you should have consulted us before taking the situation into your hands. You have no idea the threats surrounding her and how can you admit her in a hospital without even informing her family or guardians," he roared back at Rudy

"Mr. Miller, this is a hospital and whoever you may be but you have no rights to break the rules. Keep your tone low or leave the place," the senior doctor warned them

"You are warning me? Do you know about the consequences of this?" he yelled at them

"Dad," Louisa said faintly

"My baby, what have they done to you baby? Why are you looking so fragile?" Oliver said caressing his daughters' cheeks

"Dad, I have experienced illusions," she said looking at him

"What? How did that happen? You were totally all right until early morning Baby, then what happened now all of a sudden?" He questioned her

"That is what we are trying to know for the past few hours," the young doctor from the four doctors present there replied to him

"Who gave you the right to treat her?" Oliver roared

"It's every doctor's duty to treat the people in need and they have whole rights for that from the time they took their oath," Ty youngest doctor hit back

"Did you see how arrogant they are behaving and you brought my daughter to get treated in their hands?" He shouted on Rudy

"Mr. Miller, this is one of the reputed hospitals in the country, and let me tell you something, I didn't bring her here. She, herself came here and got admitted," he replied

"Baby, you came here yourself; but why? You could have contacted any of us before doing this," Oliver asked Louisa

"Who is she supposed to contact Mr. Miller? Your wife who don't have a second in her busy schedule to spare for her daughter or you who don't even have the time to attend the event and look after his daughter who was found vulnerable trapped in a dark room," Rudy yelled at Oliver

"What happened Baby? Did someone hurt you?" He asked looking at Louisa

"You people may discuss that later and if you people excuse us we will start our diagnosis," one of the doctors said

"No, no one will lay a finger on my daughter before I get to know all the information about what had happened and what made her land up here," he said seriously sitting close to Louisa and she snuggled closer to him immediately

"We are trying to find out that Mr. Miller and you are stopping us from doing our duty," the young doctor replied to him

"Yes Mr. Miller, please let them continue their work. It's not about your pride or my ego. It's about Louisa and her well being. So if you truly wish for her happiness let them do their work," Rudy replied him in a professional tone subsiding the anger mounting inside him

"No Rudy, I can't let this happen. You don't have any idea, she having illusions all of a sudden and getting admitted in a hospital in a span of few hours; this is not a normal thing there is something behind this and I won't let anyone touch my daughter before I get to access all the information which conspired the sudden turn of events," he said rubbing Louisa's back

"Mr. Miller, I will explain you everything please stop with your unnecessary assumptions and let them take care of her," Rudy said to him

"Rudy, I understand your concern but you have no idea about the vile world. The things, which took place, was not usual. So you try to understand things," he replied him with a calm tone

"Baby, let's go home," he said pulling away from her hug

Louisa nodded happily and wiped her tears

"You can't take her away like that in the middle, this may affect her. We know what she was going through and you just can't take a patient away from the hospital without doctors consent," the young one reprimanded

"I am not okay with my daughter getting treated in your hands so I am taking her away, dare you stop me," Oliver screamed which echoed in the room

"Let's go, Baby," he pulled her into his embrace and started exiting the room

"Rudy, come with us," Louisa said to him

"No Lou, now you have the people who worry about your well being more than me. So I will just leave," Rudy shrugged and walked away

"Russ, please stop"

Rudy kept walking even though Louisa's shrieks reached his ears

"He is probably angry Baby, leave him. He will come home once his anger subsides," Oliver said to cheer her daughter

"Come let's go," with that they barged out of the room

"Unwanted interruption" the message got delivered to his phone

"Who?" He typed with rage

"The Louse, Oliver Miller" he threw away the mobile reading the message

"You have always been a prick Oliver, I won't let you win this time," he yelled smashing the punching bag

"My happiness, my dreams, my life, I have lost everything. I have nothing more to lose. But you have everything to lose and I am sure that you will beg me to take whatever I want," he smirked thinking that
