Chapter 71: Forced marriage

Allison opened her eyes to see the silhouette of a person sitting beside her. She blinked a view times to clear her blurred vision, as she squinted her eyes to see the person clearly.

"Are you okay?" came the person's worried voice.

"Cal... Calvin?" Her throat was dry and her voice hoarse. Her vision cleared slightly and she could see him looking at her with worry. She looked at the other side of the bed and found Kylie sitting there. Naomi stood at the door frame and grandma sat at the edge of the bed. They all had the same worried look on their faces, but Calvin looked like a person that has been drained of life.

Calvin poured some water in a glass and brought it to her mouth. He knows that she's going to need it when she wakes up, so he had it ready.

"Here... drink," he said as he helped her drink the water.

"Dear how are you feeling?" Grandma asked.
