Chapter 16: CHAPTER 16

“Make me moan, now.” Zary’s brave demand caused Sam to suddenly go very still.

But his surprise did not even last more than a second before understanding seemed to gleam across his eyes. Then in the next moment, something else spread across his face – something that Zary could not quite explain, yet it instantly caused her pulse to tick faster.

He leaned a little closer, invading even more of her already very little personal space. His golden gaze now searing into hers. “Are you sure about this? Zary?” he asked. His voice suddenly so deep, so smoky and dark.

Zary could hardly believe the instant changes that occurred in him and the entire atmosphere that surrounded them. Did he immediately activate his seduction mode? That must be it, right?

The sounds of the footsteps approaching them distracted Zary from whatever hypnotizing stupor she had somehow fallen into.
