Chapter 14: Blossoming Rose
The air was cold and the trees were lifeless Alex and his friends set out to find Haven. The group was currently taking a break from the long trip Pyrrha spent her time training her semblance.
Pyrrha was afraid that she couldn't be useful to the team. She also feared herself as she murdered someone even if they were brought back to life she had to get a hold on her semblance to not make it ever happen again.
Jaune didn't want Pyrrha to train as hard as she did. He feared that he would lose her he already saw her almost die so he swore that he would protect her even if she didn't like it.
Alex was training Ruby she was forced to do 100 situps, pushups, and squats followed by a 6.2-mile (10-km) run. Any One Punchman fan would know this to be Saitama's workout routine.
Ruby at first struggled to even ten pushups but now she was capable of doing twenty pushups and then do at least two situps.
Alex: "Alright that's enough Ruby."
Ruby fell on the snow and started to catch her breath. Alex then spawned a bottle of water and gave it to Ruby. She then drank all of it in one second she got up and asked.
Ruby: "We've been doing this for weeks, Alex and I still made no progress."
Alex: "Alright I'll be back real fast Ruby."
Ruby tilted her head in confusion as Alex walked away and sat next to a tree. He then used [Skill Creation] and made a skill called [Grant] he then walked over to Ruby and said.
Alex: "Hey I'm going to do something real fast. It may feel weird but I assure you that it will make you stronger."
Ruby nodded and Alex put his hand on Rubys head 'Hmm what power should I give you? Giving Ruby a Supernatural body sounds good.' Alex thought.

Ruby then clenched her fist and said.
Ruby: "What's this feeling?"
Alex: "That's the feeling of getting stronger."
Ruby: "Oh so when you get stronger you feel like you ate millions of cookies?"
Alex: "....."
Ruby smiled and grabbed Cresent Rose but due to her new strength, she broke her weapon she got on her knees and said.
Ruby: "NOOOOOOOO!!!!"
Alex then picked up the pieces of Cresent Rose and said.
Alex: "Hey let me fix this for you."
He then used metal magic to recreate Cresent Rose. Ruby had her mouth wide open during the whole time that it was being built.
Ruby: "WOOOOW!! You are like one of those wizards in the stories!!"
Alex then handed Cresent Rose back to Ruby Alex then said.
Alex: "Since it technically isn't Cresent Rose anymore. How about giving it a different name?"
Ruby: "Well since you were the one who remade it you should be the one to name it."
Alex: "Hmm how about Blossoming Rose?"
Ruby: "I love it!"
Ruby then hugged Blossoming Rose as if it were a friend. Alex then scratched his head and thought 'Ruby really loves her weapons huh?'.
*ROOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRR*
Jaune: "PYRRHA!"
Ruby and Alex turned around to see a mutated version of an Executioner it was much larger than an average one and black liquid dripped out of it and spawned small grim.
It also wielded a large shield and a machete It was currently attacking Pyrrha. Pyrrha launched a metal bar at the grim but it used its shield to block the attack it then ran up to Pyrrha.
Jaune was so stressed and worried that he unlocked his semblance. Aura Amp he amplified Pyrrha's aura. The grim then kicked Pyrrha but due to her aura being much stronger the attack did barely any damage to her.
Ruby then ended the battle by shooting the grims head ending its life. Alex then walked up to Jaune and put his arm over his shoulder.
Alex: "So you finally unlocked your semblance."
Jaune: "My semblance?"
Alex: "Yes your semblance. Didn't you see how you made Pyrrha's aura stronger?"
Jaune looked shocked and Pyrrha looked happy for him. Alex noticed that the grim wasn't fading away he then crouched near it and used Phantom to identify the grim.

Abilities:
-First of the Evolved: Salem obtained a piece of Alex's flesh and began to experiment with it. She managed to fuse a bit of the Blacklight virus with Grim but the experiment wouldn't listen to her commands. Grants regeneration, etc.]
Alex was shocked 'How the hell did she manage to fuse Blacklight with Grim!?! Wait it must have been with the help of Arthur Watts.' Alex thought.
Alex: "Guy's there has been a change in plans."
Jaune: "What do you mean by that?"
Alex: "Well Salem managed to replicate my abilities and is trying to fuse it into grim."
Yang:" Who's Salem?"
Alex: "Well Salem is the leader of grim. She can create them and is basically behind all of these events."
Ruby: "How do you know all of these things?"
Alex: "Uh well..."
Alex: "Um before the fall of Vale Ozpin called me and told me. He didn't tell me that she was behind all of this but I connected the dots."
Penny: "So friend how will we get to Salem?"
Alex: "Well...Look I know I've shown a lot of things but after this one, I'll explain."
Alex then made a whole plane appear via metal magic.
Alex: "Look so uh magic exists and I can use it."
Ruby: "Woah! If you can use magic can't you teleport us?"
Alex: "I could but then if I explained there might be someone in the area. And right now no one's here so it's the perfect time to explain. Anyways come on let's get the group back together and end Salem!"
Jaune and the others nodded in agreement. Alex then teleported them to Atlas to find Weiss.
//With Salem.//
Salem was a woman with pale skin and white hair she had red pupils and black sclerae. She was currently wearing a black and red dress she was currently watching a Beowolf struggle to resist Blacklight.
She had encountered this problem multiple times where Blacklight would try and conquer the minds of grim effectively assimilating them into its hivemind. And when they were assimilated.
*Sigh*
Salem: "Another failure if only I could find a way to sever any connection with the hivemind then Remnant wouldn't stand a chance against me."
Salem then killed the failed experiment and thought 'Maybe I need to develop some spell or seal on it? Yes, that's what I'll do in the meantime.'
