Chapter 53: Chapter 53: Fight and <On>!
~Jason POV~
"Here we have its folks the fight you have been waiting for!"
"Will our new challenger Kurapika break Jason Win Streak or will it be another victory for him!"
Glancing at the other side of the ring was Kurapika as he has his weapons of chains at the ready while I have my fighting stance up. He has improved enough during his training to increase his aura.
Comparing it to mine, however, it's still too much to overcome alone but then again, he doesn't need to do that at all. After all, he needs to land a couple of blows on my body to win.
Hearing that the announcer has already done her bit the referee then began to announce the match as I kept my eyes close to Kurapika, "With that, the match between Jason and Kurapika will begin!"
*Swoosh*
*Clang*
Without any words needed I reacted in time to see that Kurapika managed to attack using his chains from the distance, a shame he didn't think I wouldn't counter with <Armament Nen> as I had my whole arm covered.
While that was active the scene before us began to change into another world with games my <No Game No Life> ability. Although it seems to me Kurapika is already used to what my ability is without reading it?
Strange…
It's as if he already knew my ability was which should be impossible in any normal means unless a dead person managed to tell him. My <No Game No Life> ability pledge 5 anyone viewing my game has to be living.
If a dead person or a reanimated undead were to view my game they would be partially immune to my memory wiping, but they still would lose something if they were a player. But who could've told him?
Then again I could be overthinking things like this as he must have glanced read it but then focused more on the fight if his that determined.
*Swoosh*
Dodging another one of his chain attacks I kept my <Observation Nen> up to enhance my sixth sense to tell when a foreign attack or object within near my body space. It's handy combining it with En to help for a more proper search.
Going straight in for the attack I had both my arms clad with <Armament Nen> as to keep my aura reserves last while more as I deflect more of his attacks. Also, I made sure to add the transmuter to work just like my <Energy Absorption> as my aura will absorb any kind of energy as I store them inside my Nen.
Quite the handy ability to have but I still can receive the pain while my quirk absorbs them all while my <Armament Nen> can't.
*Clang*
Blocking another one of his chains I saw that this one manages to wrap around my arm as he began to use the strength of his aura to hurl me swinging with his strength. Not a chance buddy I'm staying where I stand.
*Bang*
Using some of my aura on my feet I began to enhance them as I stomp hard at the ring leaving some noticeable holes to ensure I don't get carried away from the Kurapika swing. Holding his chain now it was time to turn the tables.
*Swoosh*
Tugging on the chain fiercely I forced Kurapika to come in my direction to face some blows to his upper body so I can get some points in. While watching carefully I made sure to keep an eye on his chains in the process.
As he was flying my way with the tug I could only flinch in annoyance as I saw his eyes briefly turned scarlet now. Fuck I guess now he's in his <Emperor Time>.
While he was flying towards my direction he began to spin with the momentum as he quickly dispelled the chain I was holding as I was quickly getting into a blocking position with my arms crossed like this.
*BAM*
A loud banging sound was heard throughout the ring as the crowd was surprised to see us cause a small shockwave as the ground beneath me was breaking my feet free but also sending debris elsewhere.
While Kurapika did manage a solid hit I firmly held onto his ankle connecting to his feet I spoke quickly as I began to twirl him around like a rag, "You know if it was any complication that managed to hurt congrats."
Twirling around Kurapika I saw him become a blur as I kept on continuing to twirl him around like a rag. You know this kind of feeling is fun actually like addicting better slam him down.
*SLAM*
"Blergh!"
Slamming him down the floor of the ring hard I saw he managed to spit out some of his blood as he was swung down with a large force onto him. Standing up a few distances away I talked to him to give up, "Sorry Kurapika but you better give up now. The way you are now you will have no chance to go against the spiders you are simply too weak to do anything."
Hearing my words his eyes seem to get angry at them, but I wasn't wrong either. If one of the Phantom Troupe were to learn of Kurapika abilities, then they would have forced some other guy to act as one of the spiders to get Kurapika to use <Chain Jail> on them as well as die in the process.
Although my words are harsh to him, I wasn't kidding that right his weak maybe shortly once he gets stronger, he could get the spiders. But as he is right now no way of that happening.
Maybe this match will teach him a lesson about getting stronger… once he loses his Specialization Category of course.
Observing that his using one of his chains in the center of his chest began to emit a green light as it began to heal his earlier wounds of being slammed. He then brought out a vial of blood from his pocket as he looked as if he was complimenting something.
Conflict can be seen in his eyes as it turned glaringly with hate as he spoke enough to himself, but I can catch what he says, "This vial of blood… I need the power to destroy the spiders and eliminate them for my revenge… I will do whatever it takes to ensure that happens… anything to destroy them… so be it."
Narrowing my eyes at this I saw him taking a drink of this so-called blood vial he had on him. While I could've taken the vial from him something tells me that I should let him take it to get this power boost of his.
That way I can take his new power but also get some experience on the side. Plus if it comes down to it I'll go full power using my quirks if that is the case.
*Swoosh*
*Boom*
But still, the aura that is awakened in Kurapika now changed from how he originally was. The one I'm seeing is a dark blue color, but the emotions filled with it are filled with malice and hate inside that aura of his.
Whatever it is it seems like this new power is consuming him no more like he's adjusting to it as he takes a feel for his new strength. I knew Shonen worlds are dangerous for random power-ups like these situations.
However, I'm more concerned with how he obtains such a blood vial to produce that much whatever it was on him keeping him stronger. Still, though I have to stand on guard since I can tell Kurapika has just gotten stronger now.
Even his eye color changed from scarlet red into pure gold as he glares at me hatefully as he spoke out being overconfident, "So this new power from him… its greater than the Nen I have and…"
His aura just flared up suddenly as if to match my power of aura capacity as it seems to me that Kurapika may have jumped to my level then again, I'm not certain if it's true or not. Whatever the case is it's time to go on the offensive.
While I rushed towards Kurapika with my fist clad with <Armament Nen> he also rushed towards my fist at the same time while having his new power being tested on himself.
*Boom*
The result of our clash made a small shockwave as our fists collided with each other as Kurapika looked at me with hate but also joy as he spoke to me, "This power… this power is what I wanted to defeat the spiders. Jason if you surrender now and give me the info –"
!!!
*Swoosh*
Quickly getting away from him I felt something was off when my <Observation Nen> picked up something coming at me as I saw Kurapika scoffed at me. Viewing what it was I saw it was his <Steal Chain> as it tried to steal my Nen ability from me.
Wow man, talk about being a dick.
Are you wanting me to surrender while you secretly go after my Nen ability? Not cool man that is not cool at all.
Getting some distance from Kurapika I scoffed at him while he talked to me in a rather annoyed tone towards my direction, "Tch. Here I thought I would end the match without one of us losing our ability. Guess there goes the distraction as your prolonging the evitable Jason."
You are the last person I want to talk about defeating but you do have a point. That new power of his managed to overpower my Enhancement Category as I can feel it in my skin. Luckily for me, I have many enhancement quirks from the MHA world that managed to toughen up my body.
Although the point stands that Kurapika managed to get to a point where he can harm me. But this match or game wasn't about who wins the fight to the end…
*Swoosh*
Going at him with my limited speed I used my enhancement to enhance my brain production of adrenaline into my brain as I saw how the perspective of things got slower again as I move extremely faster.
This is pretty much my way of using my enhancer ability to get the same effects as my <Overclock> quirk to achieve this feat. Honestly, I feel like I miss this ability the most since I can't go abusing my quirks a lot.
But that was why I'm learning to not use it that often to begin with since I don't want to over-rely my abilities. Whatever the case is even Kurapika can't handle this speed before as everyone in the world that can match me in speeds are the powerhouses in this world.
And last I checked Kurapika doesn't make it in the top ten…
*Swoosh*
*Bam**Bam**Bam**Bam**Bam*
Continuously giving Kurapika blows to blows on his upper body as I began to wail on him as he was too slow to stop my assault of punches as I yelled out loud in anime fashion, "ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA!!!"
A good Jojo reference was needed for Kurapika.
Each of my hits was in slow motion to me but to him his feeling a lot of pain right about now as I kept on attacking him he was spitting out blood till I stopped or else he would die. With that, I did a dramatic Dio pose to him as I spoke to him, "Time will resume to normal."
I know it's a bit more going faster but at least to me, everything was stopped as time so it counts. With that, I see that Kurapika was hit into the ring as he was knocked out cold from the fight.
The referee watched it all as he announced my victory as he spoke, "Kurapika lost by knock out the winner is Jason!"
*Screech*
Just like that the world of my conjuration is frozen as I see what I get from Kurapika from my fight with him.
[Winner! You have won the bet against Kurapika! As such you get what you want from the loser!]
[Since the bet wasn't completed what would you like to take/ask from Kurapika as an addition?]

Glaring down at the screen I saw what Kurapika just got as I talked to myself in a serious tone realizing the seriousness of the situation, "<On>… If Kurapika has <On> then the only logical conclusion he could've had got this was from Jed. This is a very bad situation right now if he's here."
This could be very bad if someone like Jed is here then Heaven's Arena could get very seriously bad in the future. Fuck I need to deal with him soon but he's someone near Netero level to which I don't think I can match against.
At least if I play normally with him I don't stand a chance for now though I'll collect what won from Kurapika.
